Compensation for Paid Holidays Falling on Scheduled Day Off. ‌ When any of the above-noted paid holidays falls on an employee’s scheduled day off, the employee will receive a day’s pay or another day off with pay at a time designated by the employee.
Compensation for Paid Holidays Falling on Scheduled Day Off. When any of the above noted holidays fall on a regular or term employee's scheduled day off, they shall receive a day's pay or another day off with pay at a time mutually agreeable to the employee and their supervisor. Employees regularly scheduled for ten (10) or twelve (12) hours per day who did not work on the paid holiday shall receive eight (8) hours banked in lieu for each paid holiday. The time in lieu will be automatically banked to a maximum of forty-eight (48) hours of time off to be scheduled at a time mutually agreeable to the employee and the supervisor.

If an employee is required to work on a scheduled holiday during which school is closed, he/she shall receive pay at time and one half for all hours worked, plus either his/her regular rate of pay for time worked or comparable time off with pay, except for employees who are covered under the Appalachia Agreement at the time of signing of this Agreement as listed in the back, who will receive in addition to the above another hour off with pay at straight time for every hour worked.

The employee will advise the Employer when they wish to take their stat holiday. 18.05 If a paid holiday, as listed in Article 18.01 to this Agreement; falls or is observed during a full-time employee’s vacation period, he shall be granted an additional day of vacation, with pay, for each such holiday. 18.06 A casual employee’s entitlement for holiday pay shall be pursuant to the provisions of the Employment Standards Act. 2000.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An Employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double time and one-half (2½) for hours worked, plus a day off subject to this Agreement.

  • Compensation for Work on a Holiday (a) Where an Employee is regularly scheduled to work, in accordance with Article 14, and their regularly scheduled day of work falls on a paid holiday, as defined in Article 18.01, they shall receive compensation equal to two and one-half (2 ½) times their regular rate of pay as follows: (i) compensation at one and one-half (1½) times their regular rate of pay, including the holiday pay, for the hours worked on the holiday; and (ii) time off with pay in lieu of the holiday on an hour-for-hour basis at a mutually acceptable time in accordance with Article 18.11. (b) Where time off with pay in lieu of the holiday has not been granted in accordance with Article 18.05(a)(ii), compensation shall be granted at the Employee’s regular rate of pay for those hours worked on the holiday.

  • Scheduled Holidays Holidays for certain employees, typically 24/7 facilities, are pre-scheduled on days other than the holidays mentioned in Section 1. This schedule is determined in advance. If employees who have their holiday pre-scheduled are required to work on that pre-scheduled holiday day, they are compensated as follows: a.) Cash overtime employees are paid for the number of holiday hours pre-scheduled plus payment at the rate of time and one-half for the number of hours actually worked. b.) Compensatory leave eligible employees are paid for the number of hours prescheduled plus credited with holiday compensatory time for the number of hours actually worked, which must be used within one (1) year after having accrued this time. This provision does not apply to an employee who is on leave without pay during the same pay period as the assigned holiday.

  • HOLIDAY COMPENSATION FOR TIME WORKED Employees required by their respective appointing officers to work on any of the above specified or substitute holidays, excepting Fridays observed as holidays in lieu of holidays falling on Saturday, shall be paid extra compensation of one additional day's pay at time- and-one-half the usual rate in the amount of 12 hours pay for 8 hours worked or a proportionate amount for less than 8 hours worked provided, however, that at the employee's request and with the approval of the appointing officer, an employee may be granted compensatory time off in lieu of paid overtime as provided for elsewhere in this contract. 127. Executive, administrative and professional employees designated in the Annual Salary Ordinance with the "Z" symbol shall not receive extra compensation for holiday work but may be granted time off equivalent to the time worked at the rate of-one-and-one-half times for work on the holiday.

  • Holiday Falling on a Day of Rest ‌ (a) When a paid holiday falls on a regular full-time employee's day of rest, the employee shall be entitled to a day off with pay in lieu of the holiday. (b) If a regular full-time employee is called in to work on the day designated as the lieu day pursuant to (a) above, he/she shall be compensated at time and one-half for all hours worked.

  • Holiday Coinciding with a Day of Vacation Where an employee is on vacation leave and a day of paid holiday falls within that period, the paid holiday shall not count as a day of vacation.

  • Paid Holidays – Long Weekends (a) When an employee is scheduled to work a weekend where a paid holiday falls on the Monday or the Friday, the Employer shall endeavour to also schedule the employee to work the paid holiday. (b) When the employee is scheduled off on a weekend where a paid holiday falls on the Monday or the Friday, the Employer shall endeavour to schedule the employee off the paid holiday. (c) In the event of a scheduling conflict, 12.07 (a) will be the deciding provision.

  • Repayment on Termination Date The Borrower hereby agrees to repay the outstanding principal amount of (i) all Revolving Credit Loans in full on the Revolving Credit Maturity Date, and (ii) all Swingline Loans in accordance with Section 2.2(b) (but, in any event, no later than the Revolving Credit Maturity Date), together, in each case, with all accrued but unpaid interest thereon.
