Dress Standards. During the beach season staff are required to wear the provided work uniform in a neat and tidy manner. During the winter season staff may choose not to wear the uniform but must maintain a professional standard of appearance.

Dress Standards. Section 1. Employees are expected to comply with reasonable dress and grooming standards. Articles of clothing will not be prohibited unless there is a clear and demonstrated showing that the prohibited item contributes to an unsafe, unhealthy, nonproductive or disruptive work environment. Management’s disagreement with styles, modes of dress, and grooming now in fashion is not an adequate criterion for making such a determination. Section 2. Air Reserve Technicians will adhere to the requirements prescribed in DAFI 36-2903 (Dress and Personal Appearance of Air Force Personnel). A. If the requirements for the Air Reserve Technicians as stipulated above by change in law, rule, regulation, policy or as prescribed in DAFI 36-2903 (Dress and Personal Appearance of Air Force Personnel) the Union may open the agreement to negotiate the change. B. The Union will provide their written proposals for the change at the time of their request to open Article 50. Section 3. Civilians who are required to wear a uniform in flight line/industrial/maintenance areas will be provided appropriate private areas to change into and out of uniform in reasonable proximity to the workplace. All such civilians who are required to wear a uniform will be provided a locker when requested to hang/store clothing. All future flight line/industrial/maintenance facilities will take into account these requirements and will have locker, shower and changing facilities. Section 4. Firefighters will be provided a uniform allowance and uniform in accordance with the Appendix H. Section 5. Security Police/ Guards will be provided a uniform allowance and uniform in accordance Appendix I.

(d) The Employer shall not be harsh or unreasonable in applying subclause (c) above. (e) The Employer shall not require an employee to dress in a revealing or indecent manner which would cause the employee embarrassment. (f) Where an employee is required to wear a uniform, such uniform shall be provided and maintained and laundered by the company at the company's expense.

Dress Standards. 25.1 When at work, Employees shall be dressed in a neat, tidy and appropriate manner at all times. 25.2 The Reject Shop shall supply suitable branded clothing when required, which must be laundered by the Employee. Replacement items will be issued subject to fair wear and tear. 25.3 The Reject Shop shall supply safety footwear and personal protective equipment when required which must be worn by the Employee whilst working. Replacement items will be issued subject to fair wear and tear. 25.4 Upon the cessation of an Employee’s employment, any branded clothing, footwear and equipment provided pursuant to clauses 25.2 and 25.3 will remain the property of The Reject Shop and must be returned to the Employee’s supervisor, freshly laundered.

In the event of an inspection, tour, or other visits by distinguished guests, employees and the union will be told at least one day in advance that shorts are not authorized on that day. 32.2.1.2.1. Shorts, sleeveless or short-sleeved shirts will not be worn as outer garments when there is a high probability of encountering hazardous materials which can be absorbed through the skin while performing a specific procedure or task. 32.2.1.2.2. Employees assigned to building 596 or positions that deal directly with the public will present a professional appearance. Appropriate attire examples include items such as collared/polo shirts, khaki pants, and skirts (non-mini style). Examples of inappropriate attire include tennis shoes, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and sweatpants. 32.2.1.2.2.1. Jeans may be worn except in the event of an inspection, tour, or other visits by distinguished guests. Employees will be notified in advance that jeans are not authorized on that day. 32.2.1.2.2.2. Examples of appropriate jeans are dark blue or black, without holes, boot or straight cut, without excessive fading or unreasonable embellishments. Examples of inappropriate jeans are saggy, soiled, ripped or torn.
