DRIVING REQUIREMENTS. In order to ensure competent, safe driving by all Employees and Owner Operators, DHL Express (Canada), Ltd., (DHL), has established the following criteria for hiring and awarding of all positions which require driving in the performance of duties for DHL Express Canada and its customers.
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS. 3.1. Government Legislation requires that whilst driving, the driver/s is/are required to have a valid unendorsed driver’s licence in their possession.
3.2. Driver/s must have obtained their licence at least two years prior to renting a vehicle with Europcar.

3.2. First additional driver is authorised at no extra charge, if another additional driver is required they will need to pay a once-off R200 additional driver charge.
3.3. In the event of the driver having not held a licence for a minimum of two (2) years or being under the age of 23 years, a R200 young driver surcharge will apply.
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS. Bus drivers must pass all required exams and be fully licensed to meet all school bus driver requirements at their own expense.
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS. Bus driver and employee training. As part of the driver training program, specific procedures, and training shall be implemented to instruct the driver on how to safely approach and depart from a transit bus stop to avoid contact with pedestians and other hazards.
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS. 3.1 Zimbabwe Government Legislation requires that whilst driving, the driver is required to have a valid driver’s licence in their possession.
3.2 Europcar Zimbabwe requires that a driver/s must have obtained their licence at least two years prior to renting a vehicle and be over the age of 22 years.

3.2 Tempest requires the driver to be at least twenty three (23) years old and have held their driver’s licence for a minimum of two (2) years.
3.3 An additional driver is authorised only if you pay an additional driver surcharge, and provided that the additional driver has held a driver’s licence for a minimum of two (2) years.
3.4 A young driver surcharge will apply if the driver is under the age of twenty three (23).
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS. I. Whenever an employee drives a vehicle for City business, he or she shall have a valid California Driver's License. In order to ascertain the validity of the employee's licenses, employees must present their driver’s license to their supervisor upon request. The City reserves the right to check at any time with the Department of Motor Vehicles to determine if the license is valid. If an employee's driver’s license is revoked, suspended or otherwise made invalid, the employee must inform his or her supervisor. Failure to notify the supervisor may result in immediate disciplinary action. An employee who does not possess a valid California driver’s license may request a leave of absence without pay for up to 90 days or such time as their license is once again valid, whichever is shorter. Extensions may be requested and are at the sole discretion of the Fire Chief.
II. Ambulances may be equipped with Drivecam or similar product/technology, including video and audio of the cab and forward facing, to mitigate the liability resulting from driving accidents to the City.
III. The following shall also apply:
A. All personnel shall possess, at a minimum, at all times a valid and current Class C driver’s license.
B. All personnel shall be required to possess the appropriate/minimum license required by DMV while they operate any City vehicle, including ambulance.
C. To operate any Code 3 capable vehicle, Local 2180 members shall be required to successfully complete all the Department required training. The Fire Department shall provide the aforementioned training.
D. Fire Department personnel shall report any license suspension or any action which impacts the validity of their driver’s license to their supervisor within 24 hours of such suspension or action or prior to their next work shift, whichever is sooner.
IV. This Article shall not preclude the City from imposing discipline for a license suspension, revocation, or restriction nor for the underlying conduct that led to or is related to the license suspension, revocation, or restriction.
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS. Bus drivers must pass all required exams and be fully licensed to meet all school bus driver requirements. The Employer will reimburse drivers for all required exams after they have been hired. Drivers will be reimbursed the full cost upon evidence of renewal of the 4-year CDL (commercial driver's license).
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS a. Only an employee with a valid California driver’s license will be authorized to operate a City vehicle and/or drive a private vehicle on City business.
b. No applicant for a position that requires the operation of a motor vehicle on City business will be hired without a valid California driver license.
c. Every employee whose job classification requires operation of a motor vehicle for the City must carry and maintain a valid California driver license. Failure of the employee to maintain a valid license may be grounds for discipline, up to and including termination. The parties recognize that, as a condition of continued employment, an employee may be required to obtain and maintain a Commercial driver’s license during the course of their employment, as specified in the job classification.
d. Employees shall not operate a City-owned and/or private vehicle unless they are fully in control of the vehicle. No employee shall operate any vehicle while on City business while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. An employee arrested and convicted for driving a vehicle on City business while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
e. Employees who operate a City vehicle and/or private vehicle must be aware of and comply with the following procedures:
i. Report immediately all on-the-job vehicle accidents. Record the accident on the City’s Accident Report Card or as outlined in the City’s Injury and Illness Prevention Program.
ii. Inform their Supervisor before the end of the next working day if their driver’s license is lost, stolen, expired, suspended, or revoked.
