Education Leave With Pay. An employee who is upgrading his/her employment qualifications relating to his/her present classification through an Employer approved upgrading course during regular working hours shall be entitled to leave of absence without loss of pay and benefits. While on education leave, employees shall continue to accumulate service for seniority and annual leave purposes only.

Education Leave With Pay. Leave with pay, not to exceed three (3) months, may be authorized to include time to complete advanced training programs. Should an employee terminate prior to working one year after completion of an approved training program, other than a mandatory program, the employee will be subject to forfeiture of accumulated leave and/or salary in the amount equal to salary paid to the employee during the training program.

  • Education Leave (a) If required by the Employer, an employee shall be entitled to leave of absence with pay and without loss of seniority and benefits to write examinations to upgrade his or her employment qualifications.

  • Entitlement to Vacation Leave With Pay An employee is entitled to vacation leave with pay to the extent of his earned credits but an employee who has completed six (6) months of continuous employment may receive an advance of credits equivalent to the anticipated credits for the vacation year.

  • Bereavement Leave With Pay For the purpose of this clause, immediate family is defined as father, mother (or alternatively stepfather, stepmother, or xxxxxx parent), grandparent, brother, sister, spouse, child, grandchild, stepchild or xxxx of the employee, father-in-law, mother-in-law, step-relative and relative permanently residing in the employee's household or with whom the employee permanently resides.

  • Marriage Leave With Pay (a) After the completion of one (l) year's continuous employment, and providing an employee gives NAV CANADA at least fifteen (15) days' notice, the employee shall be granted five (5) days' marriage leave with pay for the purpose of getting married.
