Time for Meetings. All Faculty are encouraged to participate in meetings and grievance proceedings. Such meetings must normally not conflict with the scheduled assignment of those Faculty involved.
Time for Meetings. Representatives of the Union shall have the right to attend meetings between the Employer and the Union held within working hours without loss of pay. The number of representatives of the Union shall not exceed three (3) employees. Every attempt will be made to hold Union business outside of a Graduate Teaching Assistant’s working schedule. When meetings occur during a Graduate Teaching Assistant’s working schedule, a leave form will be submitted to Human Resources and the cost of wages will be reimbursed by the Union. Labour Management Committee and Health & Safety Committee meetings will be held at the cost of the Employer.

A free period of two (2) consecutive hours each week will be included in the master schedule to provide time for meetings of various organizations, including student organizations, campus committees, the Faculty Association and other groups. The time to be assigned for the same shall be discussed with the Association before the master schedule is finalized.

2. If a conflict develops between a scheduled meeting of the Department Chairpersons’ Association and other organizations and/or committees, those other organizations and/or committees shall have priority except that the Association shall be assigned first priority for one
(1) meeting time every fourth week.
Time for Meetings. Xxxxxxx ESD shall grant employees who are designated representatives reasonable time to engage in negotiations, Investigatory meeting, hearings grievance proceedings, Association conferences or meetings during the public employee’s regularly scheduled work hours without loss of compensation, seniority, leave accrual or any other benefits. Xxxxxxx ESD shall provide the Association reasonable access to employees with the bargaining unit. For newly hired employees, the Association shall meet with them, which will generally occur during the new employee orientation. For the purposes of employees in the bargaining unit who are not new employees, reasonable access includes, but is not limited to:
1. The right to meet with employees during the employees’ regular work hours at the employees’ regular work location to investigate and discuss grievances, workplace-related complaints and other matters relating to employment relations; and
2. The right to conduct meetings at the employees’ regular work location before or after the employees’ regular work hours, during meal periods and during any other break periods.
Time for Meetings. Whenever any representative of the Association or any employee participates in negotiations, grievance proceedings, Association conferences or meetings, they shall, whenever possible, be scheduled after working hours.

On such dates, no other Center meetings shall take place during the assigned meeting time involving Alliance members unless a waiver of this restriction is made in writing by the Alliance President. Full-time bargaining unit member unable to attend during assigned times will charge Personal Leave or Consolidated Leave to time assigned for the Time for Meetings as provided for in this section and such time may be charged in one-half (1/2) hour units. Part-time bargaining unit members unable to meet during the prescribed meeting time will be obligated to schedule a mutually agreed upon time outside of the assigned teaching hours, to meet with center staff for the conduct of business that would have occurred during the Time for Meetings provided for in this section. Part-time bargaining unit members will be compensated at the meeting/training rate described in Appendix A (E) (4).
2. Upon reasonable notice in unanticipated situations, the Employer may reschedule a meeting provided for in the master instructional schedule to the date set forth in said notice. It is understood that the above is only applicable in situations where it is impossible to schedule said meeting on a date previously reserved in the master instructional schedule. The determination of whether a situation is "unanticipated” or whether the meeting is "impossible to schedule on a date previously reserved in the master instructional schedule" shall be made by the Director of the EOC or his/her designee.

Time for Meetings. 35.1. All employees shall be able to use work time when authorized and subject to the County’s ability to provide essential emergency services. If an employee is unable to attend an authorized meeting, then County shall attempt to reschedule the meeting for scheduled work time.

Any representative of the Union on this Committee, who is in the employ of the Corporation shall have the privilege of attending meetings of the Joint Bargaining Committee held within working hours without loss of remuneration, providing that the Corporation has received at least five (5) working days notice of the time and date of the proposed meeting.
