Flexible Shiftwork Allowance. (FSA) 24.2.1. The FSA will apply to all full-time police officers or community constables not being Officers of Police, who are required to work shifts in Branches, Sections and Units listed in Attachment 2. 24.2.2. Any police officers or community constables not being Officers of Police, who are working part-time in Branches, Sections and Units listed in Attachment 2, will have the option of receiving the FSA on a pro-rata basis in lieu of the provisions contained in Clause 10A of the Police Officers Award. 24.2.3. An allowance of 18.5% of an officer’s base salary is to be paid fortnightly in lieu of penalty payments provided in Clause 10 (Hours of Work), Clause 11 (Shift Work Allowance for Shift Workers), and where applicable, Clause 10A (Part-time Employment) of the Police Officer’s Award. The allowance is to be exclusive of penalty payments for work on public holidays, and overtime. 24.2.4. For the purposes of FSA, “required to work shifts” means an officer allocated to an approved indicative roster which requires the officer to work on any day, afternoon or night shifts rotating on any two or three of such shifts. 24.2.5. Employees in receipt of the allowance will be required to participate in flexible rostering with varied work patterns which will be driven by the problem-solving philosophy of crime management operating within SAPOL. 24.2.6. Predictable patterns of work will be maintained wherever practicable, however flexible working arrangements are a key objective of the allowance. Indicative roster cycles will continue to be approved by the relevant managers in consultation with the employees affected by the roster. The Flexible Rostering Guidelines set out in Clause 24.1 (excluding Clause 24.1.9) will apply to employees in receipt of the FSA. 24.2.7. Indicative rostering will limit the maximum number of PM shifts worked to an average of one third of the roster cycle, and weekend days worked to two thirds of the roster cycle. Operational circumstances may require individual employees to work in excess of the aforementioned limits. 24.2.8. In circumstances where employees are aggrieved by the number of PM shifts and/or weekends being worked, and the matter cannot be resolved at the local level, a meeting will be convened between the respective Assistant Commissioner, the Officer in Charge of the area concerned, Manager Industrial Relations and a PASA representative.   • Training Allowance Operators who are required by the Employer to provide training to a specified level and to certify to the competency of the employees so trained shall receive twelve dollars ($12) per day while training. In such cases, the most senior qualified operator with the capability to provide training in the required class of equipment shall be given the opportunity to provide such training.

  • Shift Allowance In addition to the wage specified in sub-clause (1), read with sub- clause (12), a normal shift worker shall, in respect of his shift hours worked in any week, be paid an additional 12,5% on such wage.

  • Flexible Work Schedule A flexible work schedule is any schedule that is not a regular, alternate, 9/80, or 4/10 work schedule and where the employee is not scheduled to work more than 40 hours in the "workweek" as defined in Subsections F. and H., below.

  • Vacation Allowance Employees in permanent positions are entitled to vacation with pay. Accrual is based upon straight time hours of working time per calendar month of service and begins on the date of appointment to a permanent position. Increased accruals begin on the first of the month following the month in which the employee qualifies. Accrual for portions of a month shall be in minimum amounts of one (1) hour calculated on the same basis as for partial month compensation pursuant to Section 5.6 of this MOU. Vacation credits may be taken in one (1) minute increments but may not be taken during the first six (6) months of employment (not necessarily synonymous with probationary status) except where sick leave has been exhausted; and none shall be allowed in excess of actual accrual at the time vacation is taken.

  • Overtime Meal Allowance Employees required to work more than two (2) hours overtime consecutive with a shift shall be provided with a meal by the Employer.

  • Travel time allowance All employees shall be paid an allowance (See Appendix A) for each day on which they present themselves for work. The allowance shall also be paid for rostered days off.

  • Car Allowance The Company shall provide the Executive an automobile allowance of $750 per month during the term of Executive’s employment hereunder.

  • Fast Food Allowance As of 1 October 2020 the Employer shall pay an allowance of $2.75 per hour on all fast food construction, and on refurbishments with a building permit value in excess of $470,000. These allowances will be adjusted annually in accordance with CPI (All Groups, Melbourne) movements measured in the twelve month period ending the previous December quarter effective as of 1 March 2021, rounded to the nearest 5 cents. On any Project where the applicable site allowance in Appendix C is higher, then that site allowance will apply.

  • Mileage Allowance The state agrees to seek continued funding to provide for the payment of a mileage allowance for the use of privately owned vehicles for official travel at the rate provided in section 112.061(7)(d)1., F.S.

  • Boot Allowance The District will pay $180 toward the purchase and/or repair of work boots for District Employees listed in the District’s Work Apparel Policy and/or at the discretion of the employee’s department manager. Payment will be made by the first full paycheck of the employee’s date of hire and annually thereafter. Boots must meet applicable OSHA standards for the duties assigned.
