Itinerant Employees. 35.01 Itinerant employees, who are assigned by the Board to more than one work location in a school day, shall have a home location assigned. In addition, the Itinerant employees will have travel time allocated exclusive of the lunch break for travel between their assigned work locations.

Itinerant Employees. YCOE may designate an employee as an itinerant at the time of hire, or with the consent of a current employee and AFSCME, to deal with day to day fluctuations in enrollment. Itinerant Employees. 1. All itinerants will be paid for travel time (.1 FTE) and mileage for travelling between work sites on the same work day. In addition, all itinerants will be given plan time and duty-free lunch time as required by the collective bargaining agreement. 2. All itinerants who work at both a secondary and elementary school will be paid on an adjusted contract if the combined hours are longer than 7.5. 3. The District will identify department/program leaders for itinerants to ensure that work issues are equitably addressed throughout the district including, but not limited to, expectations around staff meetings, late start dates, changes in schedule, conferences, in- service days, concerts, other after school events. As with any employee/supervisor issue, employees and supervisors may seek assistance from HR in resolving any disagreements. 4. Because of the travel time in subsection 1 above, a part-time employee is not eligible to add an additional position at the different school if the combined total FTE would be greater than .9 FTE unless the District specifically agrees to an adjusted contract greater than 1.0 FTE.
Itinerant Employees. ‌ In order for itinerant employees to be most effective in their duties, it is agreed that their schedules shall include time for lunch, and sufficient time to include walking between their modes of travel and their assigned places of duty when traveling from one assignment location to another.

Itinerant Employees. In arranging schedules for employees who are assigned to more than one (1) school, an effort shall be made to limit the amount of inter-school travel. Such employees shall be notified of any changes in their schedules two (2) days prior to such changes except in emergency situations. Such inter-school travel will be authorized for reimbursement pursuant to Article II, Section N (2) of this Agreement.
