Changes in Schedule. (a) The College shall advise an Employee a minimum of fourteen (14) calendar days in advance of a change in their work schedule and the reasons for the change as they relate to the needs of the public and/or the efficient operation of the College. The change in work schedule shall become the regular daily and weekly work schedule. (b) Clause 24.08(a) is not intended to: (i) Apply to single or occasional instances, (ii) Apply to cases of emergency, or (iii) Reduce the Employee’s eligibility for overtime.

Changes in Schedule a) When a full-time indeterminate employee is required to attend one of the following proceedings outside a period which extends before or beyond three (3) hours his/her scheduled hours of work on a day during which she/he would be eligible for a Shift Premium, the employee may request that her/his hours of work on that day be scheduled between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.; such request will be granted provided there is no increase in cost to the Agency. In no case will the employee be expected to report for work or lose regular pay without receiving at least twelve (12) hours of rest between the time his/her attendance was no longer required at the proceeding and the beginning of her/his next scheduled work period. (i) Federal Public Sector Labour Relations and Employment Board Proceedings Clauses 13.01, 13.02, 13.04, 13.05 and 13.06. (ii) Contract Negotiation and Preparatory Contract Negotiation Meetings Clauses 13.09 and 13.10. (iii) Personnel Selection Process Article 48. (iv) To write Provincial Certification Examinations which are a requirement for the continuation of the performance of the duties of the employee’s position. (v) Training Courses which the employee is required to attend by the Agency. b) Notwithstanding paragraph a), proceedings described in subparagraph (v) are not subject to the condition that there be no increase in cost to the Agency.
Changes in Schedule. An employee shall be notified in writing at least fourteen (14) calendar days prior to any change in their regular day off sequence or shift, provided, however, that this provision shall not apply when there are emergency situations or manpower shortages, or when an employee requests such change and it is approved by the Sheriff. (The Sheriff shall be allowed to continue swing shifts per letter of understanding, attached to this contract). Changes in Schedule. The Academy reserves the right to amend, alter, or modify its class offering and/or schedule at any time. If the Academy proposes a course schedule change to a course currently scheduled, students who are already enrolled will be notified of any proposed changes, and the change will not be made unless 90% of those students scheduled agree to the change. Changes in Schedule. Requests for changes in the posted schedule may be granted at the discretion of the Supervisor. Employees requesting changes in scheduled tours will arrange their own replacement from participating employees. The name of the replacement will be provided when the request is made.
Changes in Schedule. Except as defined in Section C5 of this Article, the following applies to all full-time employees: 1. The University will give ten calendar days’ notice of a change in an employee’s work schedule lasting 30 calendar days or less, except in exigent situations. 2. The University will give 30 calendar days’ notice of a schedule change that exceeds 30 calendar days, except in exigent situations. 3. Absent exigent situations, in the event the notice requirements in Section C1 and C2 are not met, the affected employee will be paid at time and one-half their regular hourly rate for the length of the first shift of their new schedule. 4. Notice requirements can be waived by mutual agreement of the employee and supervisor. 5. Non-probationary employees may trade shifts and/or work schedules with the approval of the supervisor. Such trades will not be subject to notice requirements and will not be approved if the trade will result in overtime. 6. The University retains the right to change an employee’s schedule assignment, without notice, as a part of a disciplinary process.
