JOB SHARE EMPLOYMENT. (i) Job sharing is a form of part-time employment where more than one employee shares all the duties and responsibilities of one position.
(a) Job sharing shall be entered into by agreement between the employer and the employees concerned.
(b) Such agreement shall be referred to the consultative committee for information.
(iii) The employer and the job sharers shall agree on the allocation of work between job sharers.
(a) The ordinary hours of work of the position shall be fixed in accordance with clause 18, Hours of Work of this Award. (Replaced by Xxxxxx 22 of this Agreement - What are my hours of work?)
(b) The job sharers in conjunction with the employer shall agree on the hours to be worked. Such agreement shall specify the regular number of ordinary hours to be worked by each job sharer.
(a) In the absence of a job sharer the remaining job sharer(s) may be required by the employer to relieve the absent job sharer provided the remaining job sharer(s) are reasonably available.
(b) In such cases the relieving job sharer(s) shall be paid their ordinary rate of pay for the time relieving.
(vi) A job sharer may work more than their regular number of hours at their ordinary hourly rate by agreement. Where an employee works hours outside the spread of hours in clause 18, Hours of Work of this Award the provisions of clause 19, Overtime, shall apply. (vii) The employer must establish appropriate communication mechanisms between the job sharers to facilitate the handing over of tasks from one job sharer to another.
(a) Job sharers shall have access to all provisions of this Award including training and development.
(b) Job sharers shall receive pro-rata pay and conditions in proportion to the ordinary hours worked by each job sharer.
(c) An adjustment to accrued leave entitlements may be required at the conclusion of each service year based on the proportion of actual hours worked.
(d) A change to job sharing from full-time or part-time employment or from job sharing to full-time or part-time employment shall not constitute a break in the continuity of service. All accrued entitlements shall be calculated in proportion to the hours worked in each employment arrangement.

JOB SHARE EMPLOYMENT. 29.1 The provisions of the Award shall apply.
JOB SHARE EMPLOYMENT. The Job Share Employment (Clause 27) provisions of the Local Government (State) Award 2017 and its successors apply.
JOB SHARE EMPLOYMENT. 23.1 The job share provisions of the Local Government (State) Award 2007 shall be read in conjunction with the Agreements Clause 16 and 17, Hours of work and Overtime provisions.

Both job share employees will receive pro- rata pay and conditions in proportion to t he ordinary hours worked. 3.6.4 The job sharers in conjunction with the employer shall agree on the hours to be worked. Such agreement shall specify the regular number of ordinary hours to be worked by each job sharer.

(ii) Such agreement will be referred to the consultative committee for information. 26.3. XXX and the job sharers will agree on the allocation of work between job sharers. 26.4.
(i) The ordinary hours of work of the position will be fixed in accordance with clause 18, Hours of Work of this agreement. (ii) The job sharers in conjunction with XXX will agree on the hours to be worked. Such agreement will specify the regular number of ordinary hours to be worked by each job sharer.
(i) In the absence of a job sharer the remaining job sharer(s) may be required by XXX to relieve the absent job sharer provided the remaining job sharer(s) are reasonably available.
(ii) In such cases the relieving job sharer(s) will be paid their ordinary rate of pay for the time relieving.
JOB SHARE EMPLOYMENT. 25.6.1 The wages paid to job share participants will be in accordance with Schedule 1 to this Agreement on a pro-rata basis
25.6.2 Employees subject to the Job Share arrangement prescribed by clause 25.6 will be entitled to pro rata benefits of such leave, statutory leave and all other accrued benefits to full-time employees based on the percentage division of the work.
25.6.3 The responsibility for organising the Job Share employee's coverage of work is the primary responsibility of the Job Share employee to roster themselves so that they adequately cover the entire spread of hours for the job shared.
25.6.4 Where this is not possible because of ill health or other unexpected emergency, the Employer must be notified as soon as possible of the inability of the Job Share employees to cover the entire spread of hours.
25.6.5 If a participating employee is unable to attend for duty because of illness, the other participant may be offered the day/s work by the employer.
25.6.6 A Job Share employee does not receive overtime payments for any time worked within the rostered ordinary hours for the job.
