Leave for Religious Observance. If an employee has religious affiliation which requires the observance of a religious holiday which falls on a working day, said employee shall be granted leave for such observance. Said leave will be with pay, and in no case shall total usage of said leave exceed two (2) days per school year. Arrangements must be made with the building principal at least three (3) school days prior to such leave.

Leave for Religious Observance. Full-time employees will be granted leave not to exceed three (3) days per annum for the purpose of religious observance providing that such obligation cannot be accomplished outside of the employee's regular work day. This leave shall not be cumulative. Part-time employees who work fifty (50%) percent or more, shall be prorated accordingly.
