License Pay. Effective January 1, 2025, the Company agrees to grant a License pay component of two dollars ($2.00) per hour to all employees holding an eligible license within an eligible job classification. Employees holding an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license will automatically receive this pay component.
License Pay. Fire suppression employees who are “in good standing” with the Oregon Health Authority as defined in OAR 333-265- 000 in designated, relevant classifications shall receive a differential equal to the percent listed below of top step Firefighter on base hours, excluding overtime: 2% for EMT-B license 6% for EMT-I license 10% for EMT-P license The EMS Training Coordinator shall receive a differential equal to nine percent (9.0%) of base pay on base hours, excluding overtime for the maintenance of an RN license or EMT-P certification and three percent (3%) increase to their base rate of pay for the maintenance of ACLS and HCP instructor certifications.
License Pay. Custodians shall receive the following pay according to the license(s) they hold. Pay for the pesticide, pool, and registered unlicensed electrician license will require prior approval from the Superintendent. Current employees as of July 1, 2022 who receive licensure pay shall not require pre approval. $ 0.15 per hour Special Engineers License $ 0.20 per hour Class II Boilers License $ 0.25 per hour Class I Boilers License $0.40 per hour Chiefs Boilers License $ 0.30 per hour Pool License $ 0.30 per hour Pesticide License $ 0.30 per hour Registered Unlicensed Electrician
License Pay. Section 33.1. Employees who must travel out of the City of Campbell to take a license exam will be reimbursed for reasonable travel expenses. Employees who must travel out of the City of Campbell to complete continuing education courses will be reimbursed for reasonable travel expenses. Employees are eligible for such reimbursement one time only for each type of license, as described in Section 2. Reasonable travel expenses shall be as follows:
A. Employees shall be reimbursed for mileage at the current Employer rate for the use of a privately owned vehicle
B. Mileage reimbursement shall be payable to only one (1) or two (2) or more employees traveling on the same trip and in/on the same vehicle. The names of all persons traveling together shall be listed on the travel voucher.
C. Charges incurred for parking at the destination and highway tolls, if any, are reimbursable at the actual amount. Receipts for parking costs and highway tolls are required when charges are in excess of two dollars ($2.00).
Section 33.2. The Employer shall reimburse employees, one time only, the fees and expenses associated with taking the license exam for CDL. In no event will the Employer reimburse for subsequent attempts to obtain any one level or type of license or CDL exam; the Employer will, upon prior approval, pay fifty percent (50%) of the tuition cost up front and fifty (50%) upon course completion. Documentation of course attendance and/or completion is required.
Section 33.3. An employee taking a license examination shall not lose straight time pay for the first attempt at each license Class or a CDL. Employees may use vacation or compensatory time for any subsequent attempts at obtaining the same license.
Section 33.4. Employees who are assigned as a heavy equipment operator (HEO) or who hold a Commercial Driver’s License as required by their respective job duties, will receive seventy-five cents ($.75) per hour for such position (HEO) or license over the base hourly rate.
Section 33.5. Employees who are temporarily assigned by the supervisor to perform the duties as a heavy equipment operator (HEO) shall be paid an additional fifty cents ($.50) per hour for all hours performing such assignment. Employees who hold a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and who are temporarily assigned by the supervisor to perform duties that require a CDL shall be paid an additional fifty cents ($.50) per hour for all hours performing such assignment. License Pay a. b. The EMS Chief shall receive a six percent (6%) increase to their base rate of pay for maintenance of Paramedic license.
c. Any action by the Department that results in stoppage or adjustment of licensure pay will be subject to “just cause” and “due process” as set forth in this agreement. Any dispute regarding such actions will be resolved as outlined in Article 30.
d. Prior to the submission of an E-4 form to Oregon Health Authority, reducing an EMT’s scope of practice, the circumstances will be reviewed by a Deputy Chief or designee. The effected EMT will have seven (7) calendar days from notification to provide additional information.
License Pay. An employee holding one of the following classifications - filtration operator, maintenance operator, assistant operator, wastewater laboratory technician, sewer maintenance laborer, water maintenance laborer and meter reader/maintenance - who obtains a valid Public Water System Operator, Wastewater Works Operator, Water Distribution Operator, Wastewater Collections System Operator or Wastewater Analyst certification, as specified by the State of Ohio EPA, will be paid a supplement according to the following schedule§: For Public Water System Operator, Wastewater Works Operator and Wastewater Analyst Certificates: WATER PLANT AND DISTRIBUTION Per HourSupplement Of: SEWER PLANT AND DISTRIBUTION Per Hour Supplement Of: Class 1 Operator $0.45/hr. For Water Distri bution Operator and Wastewater Collections System Operator Certificates: WATER PLANT AND DISTRIBUTION Per Hour Supplement Of: SEWER PLANT AND DISTRIBUTION Per Hour Supplement Of: Class I Certificate $0.45/hr. Class I Certificate $0.45/hr. Class 2 Certificate $0.65/hr. Class 2 Certificate $0.65/hr. Employees may only receive supplemental pay for the department in which they are employed (i.e. Water or Sewer - not both).
License Pay. No employee of the fire department shall receive paramedic pay unless the employee is licensed by the State of Illinois and Project Medical Director as a paramedic/pre-hospital RN. In addition, paramedic pay shall be paid only to commissioned firefighter/paramedics/pre-hospital RNs and those employees in other ranks who are required by the terms of this agreement to maintain their paramedic/pre- hospital RN license. The compensation rate for paramedic/pre-hospital RN license pay shall be fifty-seven dollars ($57.00) per payroll period.

In addition, paramedic pay shall be paid only to commissioned firefighter/paramedics/pre-hospital RNs and those employees in other ranks who are required by the terms of this agreement to maintain their paramedic/pre-hospital RN license. The compensation rate for paramedic/pre-hospital RN license pay shall be fifty- seven dollars ($57.00) per payroll period. No employee of the fire department shall receive EMT-Basic pay or EMR pay unless the employee is licensed by the State of Illinois and Project Medical Director as an EMT-Basic or an EMR, respectively. In addition, EMT- Basic pay or EMR pay shall be paid only to commissioned employees who are required by the terms of this agreement to maintain their EMT-Basic or EMR license. Effective January 1, 2020, the compensation rate for paramedic/pre-hospital RN license pay shall increase to a total of sixty dollars ($60.00) per payroll period. Effective January 1, 2020, the compensation rate for EMT-Basic license pay shall be thirty dollars ($30.00) per payroll period and the compensation rate for EMR license pay shall be ten dollars ($10.00) per payroll period. Each employee will only be eligible for one category of license pay under the provisions of this paragraph.
License Pay. SECTION 1. The Employer agrees that Employees that have licenses relating to their job, as defined in the job description, shall be paid as follows: Wastewater Operator Wastewater Collection I, I, II, II III Water Operator I, II, III Water Distribution I, II Lab Analyst - Water I, II, III Lab Analyst Wastewater I, II, III Industrial Treatment I, II Backflow Prevention I
1. The first requirement is successful completion of an "OTCO" training class as evidenced by a certificate. Management will pay for this training. If the Employees fail, he/she will reimburse the District for this within thirty (30) days.
2. License pay will be granted for certification recognized by Ohio EPA's Advisory Board of Examiners, who oversees this in Ohio for the water and wastewater industry.
3. Certification eligibility will follow the above Advisory Board of Examiners guidelines and requirements.
4. Application and exam fees will be paid by the District for the Employee. Payment will not be granted for the Employee who fails to pass any exam after two attempts for any one certification.
5. License pay will be granted for the Employee once certification is received. License pay will begin on the date listed on the certificate. If employee takes and passes the 2 license, the employee will receive license pay for both the 1 and 2 license.
6. An Employee must have the current license or certification in effect in order to receive any relevant license pay.
SECTION 2. Renewal license fees will be paid, only on the highest license in the area held, by the Employer for each license(s) that the Employees have obtained.
SECTION 3. Clerical personnel who complete the IAAP exam shall receive license pay of $3.05 once all parts are passed and certification received.
SECTION 4. Effective 2-1-03 license pay for field personnel shall be as follows: Class #1 $.35 Class #2 $.60 Class #3 $.70 Employees shall be paid for all licenses obtained.
SECTION 5. Additional matters pertaining to license pay are contained in Side Letter #1.
License Pay. The CITY shall pay twenty ($20) dollars per month to those Public Works, Operations Division employees who have obtained Pesticide Applicator, Pesticide Advisor, fresh water (Grade I Water Treatment), and backflow testing certificates. Up to three employees assigned in the Parks & Landscape Section may receive $20 per month for maintaining a current Playground Inspection Certification. Employees in Public Works Operations and Fleet who are required to obtain and maintain a current CA Class A driver's license shall be paid $20.00 per month. Effective July 1, 2001 the City shall pay the following monthly amounts to individuals holding the following certifications: State of California Water Distribution Operator and CWEA Collection System Maintenance Certifications: Grade I $20.00 Grade I I $75.00 Grade II I $125.00 Grade IV $150.00 It is the responsibility of the employee to obtain and maintain certifications for which they wish to receive, and wish to continue to receive, certification pay. It is the responsibility of the employee to provide their supervisor AND the human resources department a current written certification documenting valid certifications. It is the responsibility of the employee to monitor expiration dates of certifications as certification pay will terminate if updated valid certification documentation is not provided prior to the expiration of the certification. If certification pay is terminated due to an expired certification, the employee can reapply at a later time to receive the certification pay. Certification pay will begin the first of the month following human resources receipt of valid, documented certification.
Section N. Bi-lingual Pay:
1. Very frequent public contact in person and over the phone.
2. The City uses the employee as a translator on a daily basis.
3. The employee works in a department with numerous translations with Spanish speaking citizens. Examples of employee who will qualify for bi-lingual/translator status include those encountering the public at the counters in the finance, recreation and community development departments. Al l Unit employees receiving bi-lingual pay shall be required to recertify (test) every two years to demonstrate continued competency. This test shall be a verbal skills test.
