Accumulation of Vacation Time. Effective September 1, 2019, notwithstanding LAAC, Section 4.254, employees shall be permitted to accumulate vacation time not to exceed three (3) annual vacation allotment periods and no vacation hours shall be permitted to accrue in excess of the maximum three (3) annual vacation allotment periods. Utilization of vacation time must have the approval of the appointing authority.
Accumulation of Vacation Time. All bargaining unit employees employed on an eleven (11) or twelve (12) month basis will be granted ten (10) days of vacation with pay. Such vacation will be earned on a monthly basis at 0.833 days per month. Vacation may not be used until it is earned. For vacation purposes, day is defined as your regularly scheduled hours in your contracted day, at the time the vacation was earned.
Accumulation of Vacation Time. Vacation time shall only accumulate from year to year up to a maximum of three (3) times the employee’s annual vacation accrual. Any remaining accrued but unused vacation time shall be forfeited.
Accumulation of Vacation Time. Subsequent to January 1, 1986, vacation time may only be accumulated up to seven (7) weeks. This cap does not apply to vacation time earned prior to January 1, 1986. A schedule of vacation use may be prepared each year by each administrative supervisor that is consistent with the needs of the school district and requests of the employees. No employee will be denied a reasonable vacation request during an employment year. If the Board denies a vacation request for reasons other than those set forth in Sections 24.1 and 24.4 of this Article, the employee shall be paid his/her regular hourly rate for the specific number of days denied that result in the employee exceeding the seven-week accumulation allowed by the Agreement. In no circumstances shall an employee be paid for more than ten (10) days of time beyond the seven-week accumulation.
Accumulation of Vacation Time. 1. Accumulation of vacation time shall be computed at the end of each payroll period. An employee may accumulate all or part of his/her credited vacation to a maximum of the employee’s entitlement for two (2) years of service and must be taken within the third year unless a written waiver is granted by the City Manager. Vacation leave shall be earned in accordance with the following schedule and shall be credited in arrears.
Accumulation of Vacation Time. An employee shall be allowed to accumulate up to twenty (20) days’ vacation allowance more than the employee's regular vacation allowance for that year.
Accumulation of Vacation Time. All employees, with the consent of the Fire Chief and the approval of the City Manager/Personnel Officer, may defer two and one-half (2- 1/2) shifts of his/her accrued vacation to the succeeding calendar year.
Accumulation of Vacation Time. Day Employees will be allowed to carry over a maximum of Forty (40) hours of unused vacation time into the next calendar year. Shift Employees will be allowed to carry over a maximum of Seventy-two (72) hours of unused vacation time into the next calendar year.
Accumulation of Vacation Time. After the fifth (5th) full year of continuous employment with the Township, a unit Member shall be permitted to carry maximum of sixty (60) hours vacation to the next following year. Time not used in the next following year shall be lost. All employees shall retain all vacation time carried over from 2005 into 2006. However, those days carried over must be used in 2006.
