Accumulation of Vacation Time. Effective September 1, 2019, notwithstanding LAAC, Section 4.254, employees shall be permitted to accumulate vacation time not to exceed three (3) annual vacation allotment periods and no vacation hours shall be permitted to accrue in excess of the maximum three (3) annual vacation allotment periods. Utilization of vacation time must have the approval of the appointing authority.

Accumulation of Vacation Time. All bargaining unit employees employed on an eleven (11) or twelve (12) month basis will be granted ten (10) days of vacation with pay. Such vacation will be earned on a monthly basis at 0.833 days per month. Vacation may not be used until it is earned. For vacation purposes, day is defined as your regularly scheduled hours in your contracted day, at the time the vacation was earned.

In no circumstances shall an employee be paid for more than ten (10) days of time beyond the seven-week accumulation.
Accumulation of Vacation Time. 1. Accumulation of vacation time shall be computed at the end of each payroll period. An employee may accumulate all or part of his/her credited vacation to a maximum of the employee’s entitlement for two (2) years of service and must be taken within the third year unless a written waiver is granted by the City Manager. Vacation leave shall be earned in accordance with the following schedule and shall be credited in arrears.
