Accumulation of Vacation Time. Effective September 1, 2019, notwithstanding LAAC, Section 4.254, employees shall be permitted to accumulate vacation time not to exceed three (3) annual vacation allotment periods and no vacation hours shall be permitted to accrue in excess of the maximum three (3) annual vacation allotment periods. Utilization of vacation time must have the approval of the appointing authority.

Accumulation of Vacation Time. All bargaining unit employees employed on an eleven (11) or twelve (12) month basis will be granted ten (10) days of vacation with pay. Such vacation will be earned on a monthly basis at 0.833 days per month. Vacation may not be used until it is earned. For vacation purposes, day is defined as your regularly scheduled hours in your contracted day, at the time the vacation was earned.
Accumulation of Vacation Time. Vacation time shall only accumulate from year to year up to a maximum of three (3) times the employee’s annual vacation accrual. Any remaining accrued but unused vacation time shall be forfeited.‌

Commencing with the twentieth year, employees shall earn and be credited with vacation leave at the rate of two hundred (200) hours per year.
