Miscellaneous Fringe Benefits. A. Where more than one (1) member of the same family, i.e. husband and wife, are employed by the Board and are eligible Employees for the specified insurance coverage, only one (1) of said Employees shall-be eligible for health insurance coverage. In the event an Employee's spouse is employed by someone other than the Board and his or her Employer provides equivalent health insurance coverage, the Board shall be relieved of any liability for the purchase of health insurance for said Employee. Not later than the third Monday of September each year every Employee shall certify, in writing, that his/her spouse does not have equivalent insurance coverage at his or her place of employment.
Miscellaneous Fringe Benefits. Except when a specific fringe benefit is provided for in this Contract, the Superintendent shall receive fringe benefits provided by the Board during the term of this Contract to all administrators and/or to all certificated employees. In event of a conflict in a fringe benefit expressly provided for in this Contract and one provided to administrators and/or certificated employees, the terms of this Contract shall govern.
Miscellaneous Fringe Benefits. During the Employment Period, the ----------------------------- Company shall pay the Executive an amount equal to the monthly dues incurred by the Executive for membership in a country club located in the greater Birmingham, Alabama area, which amount shall be paid in accordance with the Company's regular payroll practices for its senior executives, as in effect from time to time. Such amount shall be treated as additional current cash compensation to the Executive, and shall not be subject to increase over the initial amount thereof. In addition, the Company shall pay directly or, in the event the Executive pays, reimburse the Executive, for the initiation fee for membership in such country club. In the event the initiation fee includes an equity interest in such country club, the equity interest shall be owned by the Company.
Miscellaneous Fringe Benefits. Full time (30 hours per week or more) cafeteria employees covered by this Agreement shall be entitled to the miscellaneous fringe benefits set forth below. Unless explicitly established otherwise within the individual subsection of this Article, miscellaneous fringe benefits for part-time cafeteria employees whose normal working week equals or exceeds fifteen (l5) hours per week shall be prorated accordingly. Miscellaneous benefits under this Article shall not be paid to part - time cafeteria employees whose normal working week is less than fifteen (l5) hours.
Miscellaneous Fringe Benefits. During the term of this Employment Agreement, WLR shall provide Xxxxxx with all other fringe benefits available to other executives of the company such as life insurance, travel expense reimbursement and other fringes. In addition, WLR shall cover all expenses necessary for Xxxxxx to maintain professional status as a lawyer.
Miscellaneous Fringe Benefits. As an employee and senior officer of the Company, Executive shall, at all times throughout his Employment Term, participate in all Company fringe benefit plans and programs, as in effect from time to time (subject to the terms and conditions of each such plan or program) on terms and conditions no less favorable than those applicable to the Company's other most senior officers.
Miscellaneous Fringe Benefits. Disability of any Employee occasioned by work-related injury shall be exclusively covered by worker's compensation.
Miscellaneous Fringe Benefits. A. LTD Coverage; The Board shall provide non-duty related sickness and accident coverage which shall commence once the Employee has served a sixty (60) work day waiting period. This benefit shall provide the bargaining unit member sixty-six and two-thirds (66 2/3) per cent of her/his wage, including social security benefits for the duration of the disability or to age sixty-five (65) whichever occurs first. All provisions of the insurance contract in effect on the date of ratification shall be controlling in determining Employee eligibility for disability benefits. Disability of any Employee occasioned by work-related injury shall be exclusively covered by worker's compensation.
B. When an Employee has exhausted all accumulated sick leave days and sickness and accident benefits, he/she shall be eligible for a medical leave of-absence without pay of not to exceed twelve (12) months, provided he/she submits medical proof of inability to perform normal duties. During the said twelve (12) month period, the Board may request medical recertification of inability to perform normal duties. Such leave may be renewable annually upon the request of the Employee.
C. Employees whose fringe benefits require an Employee contribution shall sign and authorize a payroll deduction form for his/her share of benefits costs before coverage can begin. Additionally, those Employees who owe for the months of July/August shall arrange with the Employer a schedule of payments for July/August premiums.
D. The Board will provide transportation personnel with the opportunity to participate in a Flexible Benefit Plan as defined by the Internal Revenue Service.
Miscellaneous Fringe Benefits. A. Tuition Reimbursement for secretarial employees:
1. The course must be job related. The definition of a “job related course" shall be at the discretion of the Superintendent.
2. Applications and requests for course reimbursement must be approved by the Superintendent before the secretarial employee enrolls for the course. The following dates apply: June 30th for Summer School Courses September 30th for Fall Courses February 15'hfor Spring Courses
3. The applicant who has received initial approval must be in the employ of the District at the time the claim for tuition reimbursement is made and must present a receipt of payment from the institution providing the course, together with an official transcript or certificate of completion of course and claim form.
4. Secretarial employees shall be reimbursed for tuition costs for approved courses to a maximum of $200.00 per secretary per year.
B. Athletic trainers and instructional aides do not receive reimbursement for course tuition.
Miscellaneous Fringe Benefits. (a) Standard Company insurance--hospital, life, etc., and profit-sharing and deferred compensation.
(b) Club dues (downtown and, after one year, a country club). [To be included in expense allowance.] (c) Vacation -- 20 business days.
(d) Business expense reimbursement per standard policy.
