Notice of Change of Shift Sample Clauses

Notice of Change of Shift. Twenty-four (24) hours notice shall be given before change of shift. Failure to provide at least sixteen (16) hours rest between shifts which are being changed shall result in payment of overtime at established rates for any hours worked during normal rest periods.
Notice of Change of ShiftFailure to provide at least sixteen (16) hours rest between shifts which are being changed at the request of the Employer shall result in the calculation of a new rate which shall be one and one-half times (1½X) the appropriate regular rate for the first two (2) hours, and two times (2X) the appropriate regular rate for the remainder of the hours, for any hours worked during such normal rest periods. This rate change shall not be interpreted as time, but only as a rate of pay.
Notice of Change of ShiftThe Hospital will endeavour to provide as much notice as is practicable of a change in the posted schedule. Changes to the posted work schedule shall be brought to the attention of the employee. Where less than forty-eight (48) hours notice is given personally to the full-time employee and less than twenty-four (24) hours notice is given personally to the part-time employee, time and one half (1-1/2) of the employee’s regular straight time hourly rate will be paid for all hours worked on the first shift of his/her new schedule.

Notice of Change of ShiftIf an employee is not given twenty four hours notice of a change of shift, the employee shall be paid at penalty rates for that shift, this means that both start and finish times have moved. Where an employee is asked to work overtime before the start of their rostered shift, this overtime does not meet the definition of a change of shift as it is in addition to their normal rostered hours.
Notice of Change of Shift a) The Health Centre will provide at least forty-eight (48) hours notice in advance of assignment to a different shift or an added shift. Where less than forty-eight (48) hours is given, such change shall only be made with verbal consent of the employee. b) The Health Centre agrees there will be no arbitrary or discriminatory assignment of personnel in the nursing services (i.e. registered practical nurses, and xxxx aides) to particular shifts. It is recognized, however, by both parties, that the Health Centre must be efficiently staffed at all times and, therefore the above commitment will in no way preclude the employment of personnel who would be unavailable at other than particular times and cannot be replaced. c) When an employee is called to work at a time that would prevent him from reporting to work for the shift’s regular start time, providing he reports to work within one and one-half (1 ½) hours of the shifts start time, he will be paid his regular straight time rate for the period of time between the shift’s regular start time and the time he actually reported for work.

(a) Victim Services The Victim Services Coordinator will adjust their schedule once every fourth month to accommodate the monthly staff meeting with volunteers. There will be a minimum of eight (8) hours between shifts. The Victim Services Case Worker's shifts can be adjusted at the discretion of the Coordinator to accommodate meetings with proper notice.
Notice of Change of Shift. At the Company’s discretion, the requirement for overtime rates to be paid in circumstances where the Company provides less than 48 hours’ notice of a change of shift (see Part C, Clause 8 - Duty Rosters) will not apply in the limited circumstance where a flight’s delayed arrival time is in excess of 6 hours after the rostered start time of the Employee’s shift. This exception will only apply in respect of the rostered hours on that particular shift.
