Office Assignment. Consists of a 40 hour week. It involves desk work, telephone answering, typing and/or computer work, paper work and filling. Other transitional duty: such as, driving a vehicle for general errands around the Township and within Central Ohio, possible business inspections which require walking, bending both inside and outside of buildings, light building and vehicle maintenance as determined by the Department Head and approved by the employer’s personal physician. Office Assignment. Assignment and reassignment of faculty offices shall be the responsibility of the Xxxxxxx and Vice President for Academic Affairs in consultation with FACE. All requests for changes in office assignments shall be made in writing to the Xxxxxxx and Vice President for Academic Affairs. Excluding offices of non-teaching professionals, FACE members as of September 1, 1989 shall retain their current offices unless they request a change in writing to the Xxxxxxx and Vice President for Academic Affairs. Rights to faculty offices terminate when the FACE member’s employment ceases. The office of a bargaining unit member who is granted a sabbatical leave or extended leave without pay may be made available by the Xxxxxxx and Vice President for Academic Affairs for the period of the leave.
Office Assignment. Employees assigned to an Office assignment shall be entitled to take the ten (10) authorized City Holidays listed below and three (3) floating holidays off but will not be eligible for holiday-in-lieu pay. For the purposes of this section employees working a compressed four-day, thirty-eight (38) hour work week shall be entitled to 9.5 hours per holiday. Employees who are absent from work without pay or are on an unpaid status for less than their full schedule of hours on either the scheduled work day before or after the day the holiday is observed, shall not be eligible for nor receive holiday pay. For the purpose of this provision, the ten (10) City authorized holidays are: New Year's Day, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx Xx.’s Birthday, President’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, The Day after Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Employees shall receive three floating holidays at the start of each year. Employees assigned to an Office assignment after January 1 shall receive prorated floating holidays based on the number of days remaining in the calendar year on their date of assignment and the hours will be placed in each member’s Floating Holiday Leave Bank. The three (3) floating Holidays are to be scheduled by mutual agreement between the employee and the Department Head or designated representative. If the employee returns to suppression assignment, the Floating Holiday Leave balance will be removed and in turn the employee will receive Holiday-in-Lieu pay. If any of the above holidays falls on Saturday, it shall be observed by the City on the Friday immediately preceding. If any of such holidays falls on a Sunday, it shall be observed by the City on the following Monday. If one of the holidays listed above is observed by the City on an employee's normal day off the holiday hours for such day shall be added to the employee’s floating holiday bank once the holiday has passed, to be used within the calendar year. If an employee is required to work on a holiday, the holiday hours for such day shall be added to the employee’s floating holiday bank once the holiday has passed, to be used within the calendar year. Unused holidays cannot be cashed out.

A faculty member shall develop and notify students in the syllabus of his grading system, which shall be in accordance with the existing grading systems established by the Board. The faculty member's student grading system shall have clearly defined criteria. The faculty member shall explain the grading system to his students on the first day of each class. Any necessary modifications of this grading system shall be given to the students in writing. A student's final grade shall not be changed without the approval of the faculty member who assigned the grade and the Campus President. If a faculty member is no longer an employee, the Administration shall be responsible for justifying any change in grades awarded by this faculty member. The faculty member shall use the College’s Learning Management System to record all student grades defined in the course syllabus. The Administration shall schedule classes to meet the needs of the students. The Administration shall develop a class schedule to include a sufficient number of courses to fulfill full- time faculty contractual loads and shall coordinate the scheduling of faculty members' classes district-wide.

  • Overtime Assignment A. In institutional settings when the Agency determines that overtime is necessary, overtime shall be offered on a rotating basis, to the qualified employees who usually work the shift where the opportunity occurs. If no qualified employees on the shift desire to work the overtime, it will be offered on a rotating basis first to the qualified employee with the most state seniority at the work site. When there are no volunteers to work the overtime as outlined above, and/or where an emergency exists, reasonable overtime hours may be required by the Agency. Such overtime shall be assigned, on a rotating basis, first to the qualified employee with the least state seniority at the work site. This policy shall not apply to overtime work which is specific to a particular employee’s claim load or specialized work assignment or when the incumbent is required to finish a work assignment. B. In non-institutional settings, the Agency reserves the right to schedule and approve overtime. In emergency situations overtime may be approved after the fact. Required overtime that can be worked by more than one (1) employee at the work site (that which is not specific to the particular employee’s case load or specialized work assignment) will be offered on a rotating, state seniority basis. If no qualified employee volunteers for the work, or where an emergency exists, then the qualified employee with the least state seniority at the work site will be assigned on a rotating basis. C. The parties recognize that in both institutional and non-institutional settings, that the Employer has the right to require mandatory overtime where necessary; however, the Employer will not abuse the utilization of mandatory overtime.

  • Deed; Xxxx of Sale; Assignment To the extent required and permitted by applicable law, this Agreement shall also constitute a “deed,” “xxxx of sale” or “assignment” of the assets and interests referenced herein.

  • Shift Assignment Should the University elect to establish a shift on any other schedule than the regular day shift (Monday through Friday) or to assign employees to work on any such shift, the employee(s) with the most seniority in the classification affected or to be assigned on such shift shall have preference in moving to such shift. If an insufficient number of employees in the classification elect to move to such shift, then the employee(s) with the least seniority in the classification shall be assigned to such shift.   • Shift Assignments When an opening occurs in a shift assignment in an appropriate work group at a location, preference shall be given to employees within the classification who possess the training, ability and any required special qualifications to perform the work required, on the basis of seniority. In the event that no employee desires a shift assignment, employees shall be selected in order of inverse seniority. This provision shall not apply to necessary training assignments. This provision shall not in itself alter the practice of rotating shifts where such practice presently exists. No employee who has a regular shift assignment on the effective date of the Agreement shall be involuntarily displaced from such shift assignment as a result of this Article.

  • Room Assignment The Landlord will assign rooms in accordance with the current assignment practice set by Residence Services. The Landlord reserves the right to transfer or move Tenants when deemed necessary. Tenants failing to arrive within 48 hours of the specified move-in date, without informing Residence Services of the delay, will lose their room assignment.
