Overtime (Daily. Overtime shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half (1 1/2x) for the first two (2) hours during the employee's regular work week. All overtime beyond two (2) hours shall be paid at double time (2x).
Overtime (Daily. All overtime will be paid for at double rate.
Overtime (Daily. The first two (2) hours of overtime worked each day shall be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the classified rate. All overtime in excess of two (2) hours each day shall be paid at the rate of 2.0 times the classified rate.
Overtime (Daily the first three (3) hours of daily overtime will be paid at time and one-half and doubletime thereafter.
Overtime (Daily. All time worked in excess of eight hours continuous service in a 24 hour period shall be paid for as overtime on the minute basis at 1 1/2 times the hourly rate except:
(a) When changing off where it is the practice to work alternately days and nights for certain periods.
(b) Working through two shifts to change off.
(c) Where exercising seniority rights from one assignment to another.
(d) When extra persons are required by schedule rules to be used.
(e) In the application of Article 3.5.
Overtime (Daily. The first two hours of overtime will be paid at time and one-half rate and double time thereafter.
Overtime (Daily. (1) Regular Employees
(a) Except when changing off where it is the practice to work alternately days and nights for certain periods, working through 2 shifts to change off, or where exercising seniority rights from one assignment to another, all time worked in excess of 8 hours continuous service in a 24-hour period shall be paid for as overtime, on the minute basis, at one and one-half times the hourly rate, according to class of locomotive. This rule applies only to service paid on the hourly or daily basis and not to service paid on mileage or road basis.
(b) (Article 3, Section 5(a) of the May 23, 1952 National Agreement, applicable only where that 5-Day Workweek is in effect.) Existing rules which relate to the payment of daily overtime for regular assigned employees and practices thereunder are not changed hereby and shall be understood to apply to regular assigned relief employees, except that work performed by regular assigned relief employees on assignments which conform with the provisions of Part 2, Section C of this Article shall be paid for at the straight time rate.
Overtime (Daily. Additional daily hours beyond twelve (12) hours will be paid for at doubletime (2x) the employee's regular hourly rate.
Overtime (Daily. Employees on the job (bid holder or replacement) will have first rights to daily overtime. Any bid job holder, company convenience to another job will have first rights to overtime work on the job that they were moved from.
a) An employee(s) will be notified at least two (2) hours in advance of the end of the shift on any daily overtime. Otherwise such overtime work will be voluntary on the part of the employee(s). The above does not apply in case of a mechanical or electrical breakdown.
b) All overtime work in excess of eight (8) hours per week will be voluntary on the part of the employee, except those employees who work daily overtime as part of their regular work week. Those employees would be required, if necessary, to work eight (8) hours overtime over and above the regular daily overtime they work per week, after which any overtime would be voluntary.
c) When employee’s services are needed for overtime work and they notify their Team Leader immediately that they do not wish to accept the overtime work, they will be excused as soon as qualified replacements can be secured who will accept the rate of the job. All parties will cooperate in securing a qualified replacement. Daily overtime of less than four (4) hours will be offered by plant seniority, qualification and skills being sufficient, as listed in the Team Leader’s office.
d) Scheduled daily overtime will be offered by posting and employees will be required to sign for overtime. The Company will post overtime sign-up sheet in advance to ensure all employees have the opportunity to sign.
Overtime (Daily. Work assigned in excess of seven (7) hours per day shall be paid at the following rate:
i) The first two (2) hours of overtime worked each day shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1 ½) times the base hourly rate.
ii) All overtime in excess of two (2) hours each day shall be paid at the rate of two (2) times the base hourly rate.
