Placement on Grid. H.1.4.1 For newly-hired Permanent Contract Employees who have not previously been employed by the Employer, prior relevant experience for each acceptable year will be considered up to the Category maximum in accordance with the salary steps in Appendix A. An acceptable year of experience shall be defined as one (1) year of full-time employment which may be accumulated through part-time employment to the maximum set out in Article H.1.4.2.1. Relevant experience and employment is verified with an acceptable professional agency or organization.
Placement on Grid. B.2.1 Secondary or elementary school teaching experience in Ontario as a permanent or probationary employee on a full time basis is used to find the step on the grid. This is to be adjusted by the following:
Placement on Grid. L28.01 For newly hired Permanent Members who have not been previously employed by the Board and for Long-Term Contract Members, previous direct and related experience prior to the Member’s permanent employment with the Board shall be recognized for purposes of placement on the salary grid.
Placement on Grid. 4:01 Definitions of levels and categories shall be in accordance with regulations, procedures and category definitions of The Qualifications Evaluation Council of Ontario, Program 5. Category A0 shall be defined as those Teachers who were in Categories D, C, and B prior to September 1992.
Placement on Grid. (a) Employees with the appropriate work experience hired into job classes where the Employer normally requires a regulated trade license will be placed at Step 3 of the salary schedule for the position.
Placement on Grid. 3 1 Except as otherwise specifically provided for in the terms of this Agreement, the annual salary and allowances of each Teacher shall be determined in accordance with Article of this Agreement.
Placement on Grid. A. Teachers in the employ of the Board as of June 26, 2003, will be rounded up to the next full experience increment on the grid. Their anniversary date for purpose of movement through the grid thereafter shall be September 1.
Placement on Grid. A. Years of teaching experience for New Teachers will be rounded to the nearest full year (up or down) in order to be placed on the wage grid at a full step. (.5 rounds up)
Placement on Grid. All Teachers except those placed in Category A in accordance with the Pay Equity Plan and except principals, vice-principals, co-ordinators and assistant co-ordinators shall be placed on the salary grid according to the category as determined in and Equivalent Teaching Experience. The Board may award a permanent Contract to a Teacher returning to teach with the Board. The determination of Total Salary for a Teacher returning from leave shall be made in accordance with the rights and subject to the conditions with respect to Total Salary which were given or imposed as terms under which the leave was granted. A Teacher's advancement on the Salary grid for the following school year for increased Teaching Experience may be withheld only for just and upon written to Teacher prior to April in the preceding school year, stating the reasons why advancement is to be withheld. CATEGORY PLACEMENT A Teacher shall submit all necessary written proof of the change in qualifications to the Director.
Placement on Grid. All changes in salary, whether the result of promotion, demotion, filing with the Employer proof of registration or attainment of a service anniversary, shall be effective on the date of such occurrence.
