Posting of Open Positions. The posting of open positions shall be in accordance with the current collective bargaining agreement. Until such time that the district implements a telephone job line and/or an employment posting section of its Internet website, employees may file a written request to be contracted for a specific open positions. Notices will be mailed to their homes via first class mail.
Posting of Open Positions. 1. All open positions shall be posted internally and externally for at least five (5) days. Position postings shall be available on the District website and in a district-wide e-mail conference folder. An electronic copy will also be sent to the Association President. For posted positions any employee with the appropriate endorsement (except those previously surplused transferred) may apply for a voluntary transfer.
Posting of Open Positions. The School Committee will post for fifteen (15) calendar days on the Pawtucket School Department’s website (xxx.xxxxx.xxx) and via the Pawtucket School Department e-mail (including during the summer months and scheduled school vacations), all openings for certified, supervisory and administrative positions and positions beyond that of a classroom teacher and other certified/licensed personnel. Said postings shall state the educational qualifications, all other requirements, duties, and the salary of the position. All applications for promotional positions shall be acknowledged by the Superintendent of Schools within ten (10) business days.
Posting of Open Positions. 22 The District shall make every reasonable effort to make available to the President or designee a 23 published notice of open positions (open position shall be defined herein as it is defined in 24 Section 10.1) within five (5) days of the posting. Should the open position require the use of a 25 substitute for an interim period, the interim period shall be no longer than fifteen (15) 26 workdays. Open positions shall be posted on the District’s web site.

Prior to October 1st of each year (Annual Transfer Window) any open positions shall be posted along with a notification of any known upcoming vacancies due to impending retirements or promotions. Each position will be identified according to the appropriate experience category. Firefighters may submit a transfer request in writing to the Fire Chief or his/her designate for any open or upcoming vacancy no later than October 31st.
Posting of Open Positions. 5.3.1 The District shall publish, for a minimum of ten (10) days, the availability of new and open positions covered by this bargaining unit by first sending the openings to every District worksite. The ten-day minimum may be changed with the consent of the Association president. Such posting will be done in a timely manner and will list the relevant minimum requirements for the position. A copy of the job posting will be forwarded to the president of the Association. Prior to posting a position the incumbent, if any, will be notified in writing if he/she is not to be offered the position.
Posting of Open Positions. After displaced employees have been placed, and all qualified RIFed employees have been recalled per 105 ILCS 5/10-23.5, all remaining positions shall then be posted. Bargaining unit members seeking to transfer must apply for posted positions. Any employee will be eligible to apply for an open position with preference given to employees who transfer within the same job classification. For intra-department transfers within job classification (i.e. “domino effect”), if the most senior employee applies, the remaining posting period may be waived so that the next open position may be posted.
