Posting of Open Positions. The posting of open positions shall be in accordance with the current collective bargaining agreement. Until such time that the district implements a telephone job line and/or an employment posting section of its Internet website, employees may file a written request to be contracted for a specific open positions. Notices will be mailed to their homes via first class mail.

Posting of Open Positions. 1. All open positions shall be posted internally and externally for at least five (5) days. Position postings shall be available on the District website and in a district-wide e-mail conference folder. An electronic copy will also be sent to the Association President. For posted positions any employee with the appropriate endorsement (except those previously surplused transferred) may apply for a voluntary transfer.
Posting of Open Positions. 22 The District shall make every reasonable effort to make available to the President or designee a 23 published notice of open positions (open position shall be defined herein as it is defined in 24 Section 10.1) within five (5) days of the posting. Should the open position require the use of a 25 substitute for an interim period, the interim period shall be no longer than fifteen (15) 26 workdays. Any employee will be eligible to apply for an open position with preference given to employees who transfer within the same job classification. For intra-department transfers within job classification (i.e. “domino effect”), if the most senior employee applies, the remaining posting period may be waived so that the next open position may be posted.
