Posting Open Positions. It shall be a basic policy and practice of the District to provide means for the broadest possible distribution of information of and about all certificated position openings to assure that all interested and qualified persons have an opportunity to be considered.

Posting Open Positions. Notices of vacant, regular bargaining unit positions shall be posted for a period of seven (7) calendar days before being filled. If any shifts and/or positions in a particular department/unit, that a Per Diem employee has been working regularly on the monthly schedule for the proceeding four (4) months (excluding coverage for PTO/leave, FLMA, Jury Duty, Workers’ Compensation absences, etc.) and that the Employer desires to continue staffing such shifts and/or positions, a part-time or full-time regular position will be posted. Job postings shall include the scheduled hours, the shift hours (days, evening, nights and expected amount of scheduled hours), schedule and expected weekend work requirements, department, brief description of the work and primary work location. Open position shall be posted in agreed upon designated locations and will be available electronically on Trios website. The Trios website will be the primary designated location for all postings and a designated computer(s) will be available in each department/unit for employees to use. To be considered for a position, an employee must indicate such interest by submitting a completed in-house application to Human Resources and be interviewed if appropriate. Consideration, in conjunction with seniority as defined in Article 2.7; shall be given to presently qualified employee(s) (including employees who return to work on a timely basis in accordance with an approved leave of absence agreement) subject to skills, competency, and ability in the specific area of the work to be assigned being considered substantially equal as determined by the Employer. If the Hospital is unable to place the selected employee in the vacant position due to departmental considerations, the position may be filled on a temporary basis and the employee will be notified in writing as to when she/he will be placed in the position. In any event, the selected employee will be placed in the position within ninety (90) days. An employee who applies for a position and is not selected for an interview or is selected for an interview but is not hired for the position may contact the manager to discuss why the employee was not selected and what skills the employee may need to be a successful applicant in the future. The Employer will notify all in house applicants interviewed. The Employer is committed to upgrading, promoting and transferring bargaining unit employees where appropriate.
Posting Open Positions. Job Opening: For a period of seven (7) days prior to the placement of any public notice concerning a vacancy or opening, the Employer shall post, in a conspicuous place, in the department, notice of the position to be filled. Such notice shall state the type of work, the place of work, rate of pay, and normal hours to be worked.

  • Open Positions In order to ensure that all interested employees are advised of employment opportunities, notice of job vacancies for regular full or part time positions will be sent to the Union, and job announcements will be posted on designated bulletin boards in the office. In addition, information about all job vacancies will be available to employees by calling the office and in pay envelopes. All regular full or part time vacancies will be posted and filled in accordance with this Agreement. Postings will include position requirements, minimum qualifications, substitute and preferred qualifications (if any) and base rate of pay.

  • Posting of Vacant Positions Positions that are not filled through placement of employees from the layoff list or internal transfer list will be posted for a period of at least seven (7) calendar days, during which time, internal and external applicants may apply. The posting will include, at a minimum, a description of the work to be performed, the requirements of the position, the rate of pay and the shift.

  • Posting of Positions Notice of any opening for a promotional position shall be posted in all schools and departments by the Division of Human Resources & Equity.

  • New Positions A. Each newly created position shall be assigned by the Employer to the national craft unit most appropriate for such position within thirty (30) days after its creation. Before such assignment of each new position the Employer shall consult with the Union for the purpose of assigning the new position to the national craft unit most appropriate for such position. The following criteria shall be used in making this determination:

  • Float Positions The Employer may establish regular float positions which are consecutive hour shifts.

  • Excluded Positions When a College temporarily assigns an employee to the duties and responsibilities of a position excluded from the provisions of this Collective Agreement, the employee's obligations to contribute to the regular monthly Union dues under Article 5.4 and his/her seniority shall continue during the period of such temporary assignment up to a maximum period of twelve

  • Permanent Positions All part-time and full-time positions shall be permanent unless identified as being fixed term in accordance with clause 2.2.5.

  • JOB POSTING Where a permanent vacancy occurs in a classification within the bargaining unit or a new position within the bargaining unit is established by the Hospital, such vacancy shall be posted for a period of seven (7) consecutive calendar days. Applications for such vacancy shall be made in writing within the seven (7) day period referred to herein. Where the end of the seven (7) days falls on a weekend, or a holiday (as defined in Article L.18.1), the posting will close on the first business day following. The postings shall stipulate the job title, department, campus, status, number of vacancies, shift rotation where applicable, classification, rate of pay, normal requirements of the position, work location where applicable as determined by the Employer (unit, work area, sector), and normal hours of work. A copy of the job description for the position shall be made available for review by an interested applicant by the Human Resources Department upon request. A copy of all job postings shall be emailed to the local Union office the day prior to the initial posting of the position. It is understood that the hours of work on the job posting is for information purposes only. The Hospital agrees that it shall post permanent vacant positions within thirty (30) calendar days of the position becoming vacant, unless the Hospital provides the Union notice under Article 9.08 of its intention to eliminate the position. In matters of promotion and staff transfer appointment shall be made of the senior applicant able to meet the normal requirements of the job. Successful employees need not be considered for other vacancies within a six (6) month period unless an opportunity arises which allows the employee to change his or her permanent status. The name of the successful applicant will be posted on the bulletin boards for a period of seven (7) calendar days. Where there are no successful applicants from within this bargaining unit for vacant positions referred to in this Article, employees in other CUPE bargaining units at the Hospital will be selected in accordance with the criteria for selection above, prior to considering persons who are not member of CUPE bargaining units at the Hospital. The employees eligible for consideration shall be limited to those employees who have applied for the position in accordance with this Article, and selection shall be made in accordance with this Article. The successful applicant shall be allowed a trial period of up to thirty (30) days, during which the Hospital will determine if the employee can satisfactorily perform the job. Within this period the employee may voluntarily return, or be returned by the Hospital to the position formerly occupied, without loss of seniority. The vacancy resulting from the posting may be filled on a temporary basis until the trial period is completed. A list of vacancies filled in the preceding month under this Article and the names of the successful applicants will be posted, with a copy provided to the Union.

  • Offense Level Calculations i. The base offense level is 7, pursuant to Guideline § 2B1.1(a)(1).

  • Job Postings The employee may apply for a job posting at either home based on their seniority at the designated employer. The vacancy will be filled in accordance with Article 9 of the collective agreement. Where seniority is the deciding factor the most senior candidate will be selected regardless of which home her/his seniority was accumulated.
