Position Openings. Teachers working part time in the job share 38 assignment under this agreement will be entitled to bid for other position 39 openings within the district. However, there is no guarantee or right by 40 the job share teacher to such openings although they will be considered.
Position Openings. The College and the University System will post job vacancies on their respective websites. Adjunct faculty members are encouraged to review such postings as appropriate for tenure-track positions and administrative positions. Members of the unit will be considered internal candidates for the purposes of applying for USNH positions and for the purpose of qualifying for USNH policy USY- V-E-6.1 without regard to the definitions in USY-V-E-6.1.
Position Openings. If the position opening is not filled pursuant to this Section or Section 5.5, such opening shall be advertised in accordance with Article 5, Section 5.3. Any employee may apply for any advertised opening, and if selected, will be hired, even if the new position is in a higher range or for more hours or days than was the employee’s previous position.
Position Openings. Bargaining unit position openings shall be publicized by any appropriate means that provides all current bargaining unit members with notice of the vacancy. Members of the bargaining unit will be given the opportunity to apply for these positions. If administrative vacancies occur, management will make efforts to apprise bargaining unit members of these opportunities.
Position Openings. Notices of position vacancies which occur within the bargaining unit shall be posted on the District website. For internal only vacancies, only District employees shall be considered. All job openings within the bargaining unit shall be advertised for a period of ten (10) working days before such openings are filled. An employee who wishes to apply for a job opening must apply with the Human Resources Department in accordance with the job posting.
Position Openings. The Board shall advise the Congress of all full-time openings in professional positions at any college or at the System Office.
Position Openings. The District will provide the Union with all “Position Opening” announcements for job classifications represented by the bargaining unit. Position Openings. 20.1 Notice of position openings shall be posted on the college website. Any employee wishing to be considered for such opportunity shall meet the requirements of the posted notice and, upon doing so, shall receive consideration for the position. Whenever a transfer is being considered, the appropriate College administrators will meet with the Association President and an Association Vice-President to discuss the proposed reassignment.
Position Openings. 23.1 To expedite the filling of vacancies under the civil service procedures, the head of the department or designated representative will: • Make requisition for certification of eligibles to fill a vacancy within fifteen (15) days after determining that a vacancy exists. • Within fifteen (15) days after the department head has met with the certified eligibles, he/she will fill the vacancy. If no eligible list is in effect when a vacancy occurs, the department head shall, within fifteen (15) days, request the Human Resources Director to conduct an examination for the purpose of establishing an eligible list. Nothing in this Article 23 shall be construed to eliminate or lessen the Department Head’s right to determine the number of employees in any class title.
