RECOGNITION AND UNION RIGHTS. 2.1 Pursuant to and in accordance with all applicable provisions of Act 176 of Michigan Public Acts of 1939 (M.S.A. 17.454 (1)-(22) as amended by the provisions of Act 336 of Michigan Public Acts of 1947 (M.S.A. 17455 (1)-(8)up to and including Act 379 of the Michigan Public Acts of 1965 (M.S.A. 17.455), and Act 282 of 1965 (M.S.A. 17.454 (10.4)-(32), the Board does hereby recognize the Eastpointe Federation of Educators as the exclusive representative of all Certified Instructional Personnel, including Alternative Education, Counselors, School Nurses, Vocationally Certified Nurses, Vocationally Certified Instructors, Deans of Students, and Instructional Coaches (section B) as well as the following special services personnel: Social Workers, Speech Pathologists and Psychologists; excluding Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Supervisors, Administrative Assistants, Directors, Principals, Assistant Principals, and all other bargaining unit members. The term teacher when used hereinafter in this agreement shall refer to all bargaining unit members recognized in this paragraph whose employment is regulated by the Michigan Teacher tenure act, as amended, and “support staff” shall refer to all bargaining unit members recognized in this paragraph whose employment is not regulated by the Act, such references shall mean both male and female members. When the term bargaining unit members is used hereinafter, it refers to all bargaining unit members recognized in this section regardless of their status under the Tenure Act.

RECOGNITION AND UNION RIGHTS. 2.01 The Employer recognizes the United Steelworkers as the sole bargaining agent for all Employees of the Heritage Savings & Credit Union Inc. at its 000 Xxxxxxx Xxxxxx Branch in the city of Chatham, Ontario, save and except branch managers, and persons above the rank of branch managers, controller, loan manager, loans officer (formerly Grade 12), senior head teller (formerly Grade 12), administration officer and confidential secretary and hereby agrees to negotiate with the United Steelworkers, concerning all matters affecting conditions of employment and the relationship between the parties aiming towards a peaceful and amicable settlement of any differences.
RECOGNITION AND UNION RIGHTS. The City recognizes the Union as the “Exclusive Representative” of all of the employees in the Electric Department of the City who hold a classification listed on Exhibit “A” of this Memorandum of Understanding. RECOGNITION AND UNION RIGHTS. 1.1 RECOGNITION. PIC recognizes the AEIOU as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent and representative for, and this Agreement shall only cover, those employees in the bargaining unit certified by the National Labor Relations Board in Case No. 19-RC-14862: All professional employees employed by the Employer, including early intervention specialists, family support specialists, early intervention paraprofessionals, parents as teachers program coordinators, and parents as teachers program parent educators working out of the Employer’s Anchorage, Alaska facility; excluding all other employees including executive director, financial services manager, human resources/administrative services manager, program services manager, technical support assistant, financial services assistant, administrative services assistant, family services assistant, early intervention assistant, managerial employees, confidential employees, guards and supervisors as defined in the Act, as amended.

  • RECOGNITION AND UNION SECURITY 2.1 The Employer recognizes the Union as the exclusive collective bargaining agent for employees as certified by the Nebraska Commission of Industrial Relations (CIR) as set forth in Appendix A. The Employer will not during the life of this Agreement bargain with any group of employees or with any other employee organization with respect to terms and conditions of employment covered by this Agreement, which are considered to be mandatory subjects of collective bargaining.

  • Recognition and Rights of Stewards (a) The Employer recognizes the Union's right to select stewards to represent employees. The Employer and the Union will agree on the number of stewards, taking into account both operational and geographic considerations.

  • Recognition and Negotiations The Employer or anyone authorized to act on their behalf recognizes the Union as the sole collective bargaining agency for its employees classified and covered by this Agreement. The Employer agrees to negotiate with the Union or anyone authorized to act on behalf of the Union, in any and all matters affecting the relationship between the parties to this Agreement.

  • Recognition and Negotiation 3.01 The Division recognizes the Canadian Union of Public Employees and its Local 2348 as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for all employees of the Division set forth in the Manitoba Labour Board Certificate No. MLB 5017 dated the 4th day of February, 1994, and for those employees for whom the Division and the Union from time to time mutually agree upon.

  • Recognition and Unit Description 1.1. The Employer recognizes the Association, which shall serve as exclusive Representative of all classified employees in the bargaining unit.   • Union Recognition and Rights The Union agrees that any activities relevant to the administration of the Collective Agreement or other Union activities, which must be conducted during working hours, will be carried out in a professional manner with primary consideration to instructional duties. Where the College feels that such activities are interfering inappropriately with instructional duties, the Parties agree to meet and resolve the matter.

  • Allocation and use of scarce resources Any procedures for the allocation and use of scarce resources, including frequencies, numbers and rights of way, will be carried out in an objective, timely, transparent and non-discriminatory manner. The current state of allocated frequency bands will be made publicly available, but detailed identification of frequencies allocated for specific government uses is not required.
