Recording of Hours. (a) The recording of hours will operate on a system of reporting by exception. This means an employee will be paid their standard weekly hours, unless the employee submits an exception report
Recording of Hours. In order to manage planned work, unplanned work, overtime arrangements and the balancing of a 320 hour 8 week cycle, non-rostered shift employees are to prepare a work plan for each week that outlines planned hours of work and planned time off. This work plan is to be provided to the employee’s manager. At the end of each fortnight, the non-rostered shift employee is to provide a timesheet to his/her manager which has been completed in an approved format.

Recording of Hours. (a) The recording of hours will operate on a system of reporting by exception. This means an Employee will be paid their standard weekly hours, unless the Employee submits an exception report (e.g. a leave form) which will detail the variance to their standard week. (b) Because of the nature of certain work categories and arrangements it will not be possible for Employees working under the following arrangements to report by exception: (i) Home based work (ii) Casual employment (c) Due to the evolving nature of the Company’s business, other mechanisms to record hours and performance may be required in the future. If required, the Company will ensure appropriate consultation with Employees before any changes are made.
Recording of Hours. A. The Company will maintain a record of such overtime opportunity and such records shall be available for the Union and /or employee to inspect. Inverse lay-offs, absences, vacations, sick leaves of less than ten working days, and not accepting overtime offered when properly notified shall be computed as hours worked. Employees returning from sick leaves of more than 10 working days or employees returning from a reduction in force layoff shall take the average hours of the equalization group which they return to. E. When it becomes necessary for employees to work overtime, they shall not be laid off during regular hours to equalize overtime. F. An employee putting in overtime in other than his or her own department shall not be charged for hours worked on his or her own department overtime sheet, but he or she will be carried on a separate sheet. Copies of the previous weeks overtime sheets will be available for the Unit Chairman by Wednesday of the next week. G. During periods of temporary transfer, overtime will be credited to the employee's normal classification group. H. When a change of shift occurs other than by virtue of a job posting, shift preference or on an apprentice mandated shift change such employee will carry his or her overtime hours with him or her.
