Regular Part Time and Casual Employees. (a) Regular part time and casual Employees will be paid thirteen percent (13%) in lieu of all fringe benefits or nine percent (9%) if participating in HOOPP. It is understood and agreed that the 9% or 13%, as applicable, paid in lieu of fringe benefits will not be included for the purpose of computing any premium or overtime payments. It is understood and agreed that holiday pay is included within the percentage paid in lieu of fringe benefits.

Regular Part Time and Casual Employees. (1) For the purposes of this Article, the work week shall be deemed to commence at 12:00 A.M. on Sunday morning and to end at 11:59 P.M. on the immediately following Saturday.

During the said probationary period, casual employees may be terminated if they are found to be unsuitable for continued employment in the position to which they have been appointed. If it is shown on behalf of the employee that the termination was not for just and reasonable cause, the employee shall be reinstated. Where a casual employee who has completed probation is reclassified to a regular employee such employee shall not be required to serve another probationary period under Article 10.02, but will be required to complete the qualifying period under Article 10.05.
