REPORTING AND CALL-OUT PAY. (a) When an Employee reports to work at the regular starting time and such Employee is not put to work, the Employee so affected shall be entitled to a minimum of two (2) hours pay at the applicable rate of pay.
(b) In order to qualify for show up time, Employees must remain on the jobsite unless otherwise directed by the Employer. Where the Employee(s) are directed to remain at the jobsite for more than two (2) hours they shall be paid for such time at the applicable rate.
(c) Employee(s) affected shall be paid daily travel, transportation, subsistence or receive camp accommodation as is applicable.
(d) An Employee is not entitled to show up time if the Employer notifies the Employee that no work is available at least two (2) hours prior to the commencement of the normal work day. Employees working on a jobsite where they are accommodated in a camp facility, will not be entitled to show up time if they are notified that no work is available, at breakfast time, and notices are posted on the bulletin boards in the camp kitchen.
(e) When an Employee reporting for work qualifies for show up time such time shall include the regular shift premium when applicable.
(f) Call Out Pay – Employees called out for work at other than the regular reporting time shall receive a minimum of two (2) hours pay at the Employee’s applicable rate in addition to travel time and transportation if applicable. The Employer may require an Employee to perform work during the full two (2) hour call out.
REPORTING AND CALL-OUT PAY. 10:01 An employee who reports for work as scheduled without having been notified not to report and for whom no work is available, will be allowed three (3) hours pay at the rate of the job for which he was scheduled to repot-t. An employee who reports for and commences work, shall be paid at the applicable rate for a minimum of four (4) hours or hours worked, whichever is greater. These payments shall apply only in cases where an employee discontinues work at the request of the Employer.
10:02 When an employee is called out to work on his regularly assigned period of rest, he will be paid for a minimum of three (3) hours at the applicable rate. The Employer may require an employee to perform work within his jurisdiction for the three (3) hour call-out. Employees shall have the right to refuse overtime when an employee is called out or requested to work on a scheduled day off.
10:03 If circumstances arise that there is no work available, two (2) hours notice shall be given the employees. If such notice is not given, the Employer shall pay reporting time as set out in Article 10:01. Employees shall be provided notice through a telephone message service which they may call or other means mutually agreed upon between the Employer and the Union.
REPORTING AND CALL-OUT PAY. Employees who are regularly scheduled or who are notified to report and who do report for work shall be allowed; (A) in the event no work for which they were scheduled or for which they were notified to report, or called out, is available, for two (2) hours’ work at the Standard Hourly Wage Rate of the occupation to which they were scheduled or for which they were notified to report or called out; (B) employees who actually begin work shall be paid for at least four (4) hours; and (C) employees who work more than four (4) hours shall be paid for eight (8) hours, provided, that at Management’s discretion, any such employees may be assigned to other substantially equivalent work for which they are qualified and prepared; provided, further, that if such other work is at a lower rate of pay than the average hourly earnings for the job for which scheduled or notified to report s/he shall be paid his/her scheduled job average hourly earnings for the hours worked or allowed; provided, further, that this Subsection (except for reporting pay provided in item (A) hereof) shall not apply in the cases where work is not available due to causes beyond the reasonable control of the Company, and that no part hereof is applicable where work is not available because of strikes, work stoppages or work interruptions of that character. Employees recalled to work after leaving the Company’s premises or called out for work on off days, shall be paid for at least four (4) hours.

Except in cases of emergency, including power failure or mechanical breakdown, where notice is not possible, employees reporting for work at their regular starting time, who have not been notified not to report to work, will be offered at least four (4) hours’ work or at the option of the Company four (4) hours’ pay in lieu of work. Employees absent on the previous day shall not receive payment pursuant to this Article unless they have notified the Company that they are returning to work on that day. Where an employee is called in to work outside his nor- mal working hours, he shall receive four (4) hours’ pay at his regular straight time rate of pay for the hours actu- ally worked or the appropriate rate, whichever is the greater.

The Employer shall provide notice for camp employees through a notice on the camp notice board or other means mutually agreed between the Employer and the Union. Employees who do not live in camp shall be provided notice through a telephone message service which they may call or other means mutually agreed between the Employer and the Union.
