Reserve Training Leave. In as much as certain personnel face short-term military obligations from time to time, the following covers such duties under periodic reserve training programs: When an employee who is ordered to report for reserve training/military duty at a time when it conflicts with his/her school duties and responsibilities and when no alternative timing or arrangement is possible, the difference between his/her regular salary and his/her military salary shall be paid, provided that such reserve duty has not been made necessary nor prolonged due to any fault on the part of the employee. Employees granted such leaves of absence shall continue to accrue seniority as though they were in regular service.
Reserve Training Leave. A full time non-temporary employee with reserve status in the Armed Forces of the United States or membership in the Michigan National Guard who is called to participate in training sessions shall be permitted leave for this purpose. The employee shall furnish to the Employer, in writing, a statement of the total amount of Government compensation received for this service during this period. If such Government compensation does not equal the employee's usual salary, the employee shall be paid the difference by the Employer for a period not to exceed eighty (80) straight time hours in any one (1) calendar year. Any additional time which an employee may be required to serve or attend military meetings shall not be compensated by the Employer. If the employee's total Government compensation equals or exceeds the employee’s usual salary, there shall be no payment of salary by the Employer. Reserve training leave shall be in addition to any vacation time of which the employee may be entitled to but vacation leave may not be scheduled consecutively with reserve training leave unless the Employer gives prior approval.
Reserve Training Leave. Any Full-Time Employee who attends active military training as a member of a military reserve of the National Guard shall be given leave, not to exceed two weeks in a calendar year. The Employee shall be required to notify his or her supervisor of the dates of such training in writing at least thirty days in advance. The employee may use vacation or personal days for such absences. In the alternative, Employer will pay the Employee’s full salary for the time missed, provided the Employee endorses over to Employer any payments made to the Employee by the reserve unit.
Reserve Training Leave. Leaves of absence will be granted to support staff members who are active in the National Guard or a branch of the Armed Forces Reserves for the purpose of fulfilling their annual field training obligations, or in the event that the support staff members are ordered to active duty for emergency reasons, provided such support staff members make written request for such leaves of absence immediately upon receiving their orders to report for such duty.
Reserve Training Leave. A. All members of the unit who are called for reserve training as members of any of the Armed Forces or National Guard Reserve units, shall be granted leave, and shall be paid according to law.
B. Two (2) weeks notice, made to the Department Head, of intended absence is required and the College reserves the right to request and obtain a copy of the official military order.
Reserve Training Leave. Regular, full time employees who are required to attend annual training for the Reserves or National Guard are provided pay and benefits in accordance with the Company Military Leave and Reserve Training Policy.

An employee shall not lose seniority (reference, Section 9.0) while on reserve training leave if provisions in this section are met. Employees shall be eligible to continue insurance coverage and shall continue to accrue benefits while on reserve training leave.

If such Government compensation does not equal the employee's straight time earnings, exclusive of all premiums, which the employee would have otherwise earned by working on the scheduled days of work for which he or she was excused, he or she shall be paid the difference by the Employer for a period not to exceed ten (10) working days in any one (1) calendar year. Any additional time which an employee may be required to serve or attend military meetings shall not be compensated by the Employer. Reserve training leave shall be in addition to any vacation time to which the employee may be entitled, but vacation leave may not be scheduled consecutively with reserve training leave unless the Employer gives prior approval. An employee must submit to his or her immediate supervisor and the Chief Judge a copy of his or her order to report for reserve training prior to such leave being granted.
Reserve Training Leave. Any full time employee who, as a member of a military reserve unit of the United States or the State of Illinois, attends annual reserve training, shall be given leave, not to exceed fifteen (15) consecutive calendar days a year. In addition, any full time employee who, as a member of a military reserve unit, is ordered to active duty shall be given leave to the extent of his/her military orders. This reserve training and active duty leave shall in no way affect vacation, sick leave, seniority or other benefits. The employee will receive full pay during the leave computed at an amount equal to one hundred (100%) percent of an employee’s current base pay, less any base military pay.
Reserve Training Leave. Any employee who, as a member of a military reserve unit of the United States or the State of Illinois, attends special training assignments, shall be given leave, not to exceed fourteen (14) calendar days in a calendar year. This leave shall not affect vacation, sick leave, or any other benefits. The employee will receive full pay during the leave, computed at an amount equal to 100 percent of an employee’s current base pay, less any payments made by the reserve unit.
