Scheduling of Personal Leave. Personal leave shall normally be scheduled in accordance with the section's and/or department's policy for scheduling vacation leave; provided, however, that exceptions shall be made for emergency use of such leave; provided further, that such leave may be denied if an employee abuses the use of such leave for emergency purposes.

Scheduling of Personal Leave. An employee must receive prior approval from the Town Supervisor, or designee, to take personal leave. The request must be submitted, in writing, at least twenty- four hours in advance. In the event there is an unforeseen emergency, the requirement for advance notice will be waived. The Town Supervisor, or designee, will have total discretion in the approval of personal leave. Personal leave credits may not be used in increments of less than one hour. An employee may take personal leave only after it has been credited.

G. During non-school times at least one (1) person from each building/department must be on duty and two (2) at the high school. H. Blackout periods (no personal days can be taken) I. one week prior to the start of school. II. the first week of school III. parent/teachers conferences IV. three (3) days per building or department as identified by the building administrator/ supervisor by july 1 of each year.
Scheduling of Personal Leave. Personal days must be requested one (1) day in advance and will be granted subject to the needs of the Employer. Personal days shall not be attached to holidays, sick leave, or vacation days. Personal days shall be taken in blocks of no less than two-hour increments. Approval is at the discretion of the supervisor or the College. Employees shall be able to use two of their accrued personal days on an emergency without prior notice. The emergency basis must be made known to the supervisor prior to the use of such leave. The College shall not unreasonably withhold permission for emergency personal leave. Emergency use personal days can be used in one-hour increments.
