Student Welfare and Safety. The School shall comply with all Institute-approved policies and regulations, and comply with all applicable federal and state laws concerning student welfare, safety and health, including, without limitation, Institute policies and laws addressing the reporting of child abuse, accident prevention and disaster response, and any state regulations governing the operation of school facilities. The School is solely responsible for developing and implementing an emergency response plan and other safety protocols consistent with state and federal law, including but not limited to the Colorado Safe Schools Act, C.R.S. 22-32-109.1 as it now exists or may be amended.
Student Welfare and Safety. The Supplier must comply with the Child Safe Standards. The Supplier is expected to have a Child Safe Policy. The Supplier is expected to have a Supervision Policy if there are students older than 18 years of age who will attend the class. The Supplier will be responsible for providing adequate supervision of the Students whilst they are in receipt of the Services at the Supplier’s premises, including any excursions for Students conducted by the Supplier and when the Student is awaiting collection after class. The Supplier must promptly notify the International Student School Coordinator when an International Student: is at risk of not meeting their course progress or attendance requirements; or needs, or may need, further support to assist the Student to complete the course delivered by the Supplier. The Supplier must immediately notify the Student’s emergency contact if the Student appears to be unwell while attending the Supplier’s premises. The Supplier must have an emergency management plan that details how it will prepare for and respond to emergencies, and include emergency services contact numbers, contact numbers for the Supplier’s staff with emergency management responsibilities, a clear process for staff and students to follow emergency situations, an area map and evacuation plan. At least one member of the Supplier’s staff must hold a current first aid certificate issued by an accredited Australian provider. Study Materials and Resources to be provided by the Supplier [insert requirement or not applicable] Student Support Services to be provided by the Supplier [insert requirement or not applicable]
Student Welfare and Safety. Unless waived in writing as provided in this Agreement, JRCS shall comply with all Board-approved policies and regulations, and with all applicable federal and state laws, concerning student welfare safety and health, including without limitation, board policies and laws addressing the reporting of child abuse, accident prevention, immunizations, vision and hearing screenings, health plans and disaster response and any state regulations governing the operation of school facilities. In the event JRCS occupies any building containing asbestos-containing materials, it shall comply with all federal and state laws and regulation concerning the abatement, maintenance, monitoring and removal of such materials.

The School shall comply, except as waived, with all District approved policies and regulations, and comply with all applicable federal and state laws, concerning student welfare, safety and health, including, without limitation, District policies and laws addressing the reporting of child abuse, accident prevention and disaster response and laws governing incidents of school violence under C.R.S. § 24-10-106.3, and any state regulations governing the operation of school facilities. ii. The School shall hire and retain appropriately licensed special education teachers and special service providers, including without limitation mental health professionals and counselors, in a manner that meets or exceeds District staffing ratios. iii. The School shall timely complete safety assessment reports, including without limitation, threat assessment, child abuse, and suicide assessment reports, and shall submit such reports to the District. iv. The School shall review safety assessment data spreadsheets supplied by the District prior to the start of each academic semester. v. The School shall timely and accurately report student behavior and attendance data to the District in accordance with applicable law and will submit such information in Infinite Campus. vi. In circumstances where School consults and/or otherwise collaborates with District mental health professionals, School shall timely review, evaluate, and follow-up with respect to recommendations and input provided by the District’s mental health staff, including sharing such recommendations and input with School mental health providers and administrators as suggested by District mental health professionals. The School shall designate a member of its staff to serve as its point person and liaison with the District on student mental health issues. vii. The School shall contract with local law enforcement to provide an appropriate regular School Resource Officer (“SRO”) principally assigned to the high school program. The School shall also provide an appropriate private security officer principally assigned to the middle school and elementary program. The School shall ensure that SRO and security support is provided in alignment with the United States Department of
Student Welfare and Safety. Liberty Common shall comply with all 68 Board-approved policies and regulations (unless waived) and shall comply with all applicable 69 federal and state laws concerning student welfare, safety, and health, including but not limited to 70 Board policies and laws addressing the reporting of child abuse, accident prevention and disaster 71 response, and any state health and safety regulations governing the operation of school facilities. 72

Student Welfare and Safety. The Forest Grove Community School shall comply with all applicable state and federal laws concerning student welfare, safety and health, including, without limitation, the reporting of child abuse, accident prevention and disaster response, and any local, state or federal regulations governing the operation of school facilities. (i) The Forest Grove Community School is responsible for the reporting of child abuse and neglect in accordance with state law (currently ORS 339.370, 372 and 375). (ii) The Forest Grove Community School shall immediately inform the District Liaison of any incident regarding child abuse and\or neglect. (iii) The Forest Grove Community School shall comply with state and federal law relating to drug administration to students. (iv) The Forest Grove Community School shall comply with OAR 548-020-0041, the Teacher Standards and Practices Commission requirements that the chief administrator report certain acts of gross neglect of duty by licensed staff.
Student Welfare and Safety. 5.13.1 The Charter School shall comply with all applicable state and federal laws concerning student welfare, safety and health, including, without limitation, the reporting of child abuse, accident prevention and disaster response, and any local, state or federal regulations governing the operation of school facilities. 5.13.2 The Charter School is responsible for the reporting of child abuse and neglect in accordance with state law. 5.13.3 The Charter School shall immediately inform the District Liaison of any incident regarding child abuse and\or neglect. 5.13.4 The Charter School shall comply with state and federal law relating to drug administration to students. 5.13.5 The Charter School shall comply with OAR 548-020-0041, the Teacher Standards and Practices Commission requirements that the chief administrator report certain acts of gross neglect of duty by licensed staff.
Student Welfare and Safety. Community Roots shall comply with all CRS approved policies and regulations, and applicable federal and state laws, concerning student welfare, safety and health, including, without limitation, the reporting of child abuse, accident prevention and disaster response, and any local, state or federal regulations governing the operation of school facilities. The District may provide counseling services to selected Community Roots students through resolution services provided by the Willamette ESD.
