STUDENT’S RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS. The Student is obliged to comply with the following rules:
STUDENT’S RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS. The Student is obliged to comply with the Policies during the Programme and the Agreement. The Student is obliged to be familiar with the type of education and degree s/he has a study entitlement for. The Student is obliged to adhere to all Policies and Guidelines concerning studies at Laurea.
STUDENT’S RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS. The student benefits from all the rights provided by the Education Law no. 1/2011 with subsequent amendments, Law 441/2001 for the approval of Government Emergency Ordinance no. 133/2000 on state university and postgraduate education with tuition fee, University Charter, and procedures on teaching activity in the Procedures Manual. The student has the right to benefit from four budgeted years for bachelor's degree studies in the field of Engineering Sciences, respectively six years for the field of Architecture. The student must keep the equipment, furniture, buildings, green spaces, sports, and social facilities in good conditions and working order. The student must inform himself and comply with the University Charter's provisions and the procedures in force. According to the Procedure for organizing and carrying out the teaching activity: the promotion from one year to another can be done only if the student has accumulated at least ______ credits from the disciplines (DI + DO) of the completed study year and, if applicable, fulfilled the specific conditions of the Faculty Council. ____________________. The number of credits accumulated for promotion may be modified, in exceptional circumstances, by the TUIASI Senate. The fee-paying student must pay the tuition fee in 100% in sum of _______________2) per year. The student must pay the fees established under the Education Law and the University Regulations. The student has the obligation within 15 days from the beginning of the academic year to announce to the faculty secretariat the bank and the account in which the scholarship will be transferred to him, this being the only method of payment allowed by law. The provision applies to all types of payments made by the University to students (scholarships, travel expenses, etc.). The student must pay all the tuition fee installments until the date of submission of the request for withdrawal or interruption of studies.
STUDENT’S RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS. The Student’s rights, obligations and responsibilities are determined according to the legislation of Finland and the regulations of KAMK. If this Agreement differs from the above-mentioned legislation and regulations, the legislation of Finland and regulations of KAMK shall primarily apply. This means that the Student is required to: • Accept the study place offered within given deadline. • Pay the tuition fee as provided in article 3 of this Agreement. Failing to pay the tuition fee will terminate the right to study and to graduate • Register attendance for the academic year within the deadlines set by KAMK • Study according to degree´s principles and comply with the established attendance rules. • Pursue studies according to the Programme curriculum and the established schedules and rules. • Abide by the regulations and statutes of KAMK. • Follow all aspects of academic ethics. Any violation of the principles, particularly cheating and plagiarism, is considered misbehavior and will be processed according to the regulations and policies of KAMK. • Diligently and to the best of his or her ability apply him or herself to the successful completion of the Programme. • Non-EU/non-EEA student, eligible for at tuition fee must apply for a Finnish residence permit within 14 days of the notice of admission. • Be aware and agree that he/ she has a valid residence permit to study in Finland. All matters related to immigration are governed and decided by the Finnish Immigration Service. The Student is aware that KAMK does not have any control over the immigration matters. • Possess the compulsory insurance for non-EU/non-EEA students (as stipulated by the Finnish Immigration Services) if the requirement applies to him or her. • Keep the University informed of her or his address of residence and other contact information during the Programme. • Pay mandatory student health care fee to KELA The above list is not an exhaustive list on the responsibilities of the Student. The Student agrees to notify the KAMK immediately, in writing, of any changes in circumstances, which may affect his or her ability to abide by the obliga- tions of this Agreement.
STUDENT’S RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS. 1. The Student is obliged to comply with all obligations imposed by the Act of 27 July 2005 Act on Higher Education (consolidated text Journal of Laws from 2016, item 1842, with later), University Statute, Study Regulations and Project Regulations for Task 1, as well as to comply with the provisions of other legal acts in force at the University.
2. The Student is required to participate in all forms of didactic classes adopted by the program of studies conducted in particular in the form of exercises, tutorials, language courses, laboratories, seminars, camps and physical education classes, as well as for timely complete the subjects and pass the examinations, as well as fulfil other didactic duties provided for in the study programme.
3. In addition, the Student is required to:
a) complete and sign the documentation prepared under the Project,
b) fill out questionnaires and surveys related to the implementation of the Project,
c) take part in monitoring and evaluation research conducted by the University and institutions having relevant authorizations to such research.
d) keep the University informed of all events that may disrupt further participation of the Participant in the Project.
4. In the event that the number of absences from classes in a given subject exceeds 20% of the total number of classes carried out in the Semester, the Student is removed from the list of students, and the provisions of Article 4 para. 6 of the Agreement shall apply accordingly.
5. The Participant entrusts the University with the purpose of carrying out the Project his/her personal data included in the application form and declares that all data contained therein is up to date and commits to inform the University immediately of any change in writing or via electronic mail. The Student is liable for the lack of updates of personal data caused by failure to comply with the above obligation.
6. By signing the Participant's Declaration attached as Appendix 1 to this Agreement, the Student authorizes the University to process the personal data entrusted solely for the purpose of implementing the Project and the rights and obligations arising from the Agreement.
7. The detailed conditions of data processing are specified in the Declaration referred to in para. 7 of this Article.
STUDENT’S RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS. 4.1. The Student is obliged to comply with the following rules:
a) to familiarize himself/herself with all the information regarding the structure and organization of the programme published on the LIVE website;
b) to visit and discover the Erasmus Mundus Students and Alumni Association (EMA, see h ttp://xxx.xx-x.xx/ );
c) to be present from the starting date of the integration week and according to the academic calendar published on the LIVE website (§2.3.);
d) to attend all courses of the LIVE programme;
e) to take into account how to participate in the LIVE programme surveys;
f) to abide to all rules and regulations established by the universities involved and to use scholarships and universities’ facilities with care and responsibility;
g) to conduct themselves with integrity and treat others with respect;
h) to follow the rules and regulations established for using laboratories and other related facilities at the universities. In particular, to undergo safety instructions for the use of laboratory facilities;
i) to follow the rules and regulations established by the Partners during Partner site visits;
j) to immediately inform the LIVE Coordinator and the Local Coordinator of the University hosting the Student at that time, if either academic or administrative difficulties arise;
k) to immediately inform the LIVE Coordinator and the Local Coordinator of the University hosting the Student at that time, of the Student’s intention to quit the programme;
l) not to behave with academic dishonesty; In the LIVE programme academic dishonesty means, but is not limited to: - engaging in plagiarism, which includes representing the work of another person as one’s own, including information downloaded from the Internet. Citing the information source is compulsory; - alteration or fabrication of data such collected as part of a research or any other project; - use of the materials, in an assessment of learning outcomes, that a lecturer has explicitly not permitted to use; - sharing of knowledge or collaborating on any work when it is not allowed; - taking an assessment of learning outcomes from another Student; - submission work or assignment, if a credit has already been awarded for it.
4.2. The Student is obliged to obtain the value of at least 60 ECTS in the first year. After examination and re-examination periods described at §2.2, if the Student fails to achieve 54 ECTS in the first year, he/she is asked to submit to the AMB a clear individual study plan for t...
STUDENT’S RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS. The Student’s rights, obligations and responsibilities are determined according to the legislation of Finland and the degree regulation and policy of KAMK. This means that the Student is required to: • Accept the study place offered within given deadline. • Pay the tuition fee in accordance with the KAMK tuition fees conditions. Failure to pay the tuition fee will result in termination of the right to study. • Register attendance for the academic year within the given deadlines set by KAMK. • Strong (two-factor) authentication is required to have access to KAMK network and userID's. Students from outside Finland who do not have access to the xxxxx.xx portal must authenticate themselves using the Candour ID mobile app before the start of their studies. • Students from outside the EU or EEA must apply for a Finnish residence permit within 14 days of the notification of admission. All immigration-related matters are regulated and decided by the Finnish Immigration Service. The Student must be aware that the KAMK has no influence on immigration matters. • Follow the KAMK degree regulations and guidelines and complete the studies in accordance with the curriculum of the programme and the established timetables and rules. • Comply all aspects of academic ethics. Violation of these principles, in particular cheating and plagiarism, will be considered as misconduct and will be dealt with in accordance with KAMK regulations and policies. • Pay mandatory student health care fee to KELA. • Keep the University informed of the address of residence and other contact details during the studies. The above list is not an exhaustive list on the responsibilities of the Student. The Student agrees to notify KAMK immediately, in writing of any changes in circumstances, that may affect their ability to comply with the obligations of this Agreement.
