SALARIES AND INCREMENTS. 3801 Nurses shall be paid in accordance with the salary schedule as outlined in Appendix "A", forming part of the Agreement. 3802 "Basic or Regular Salary or Pay" shall mean the rates of pay shown in Appendix "A" (Salaries) and Appendix "B" (Academic Allowances).
SALARIES AND INCREMENTS. 12.01 The Employer shall compensate Employees for the services provided by them pursuant to this Agreement in accordance with the salary scale set out in Schedule “A” attached hereto and forming part of this Agreement.
12.02 Salaries shall be paid bi-weekly to each Employee. Bi-weekly pay statements shall be made available to each Employee showing hours paid, gross pay, and all deductions from wages.
12.03 A newly-hired Employee will be placed at Step 1 of the applicable salary scale. Notwithstanding, in exceptional circumstances an Employee may be placed at a higher step if the Employee has a combination of training and experience which warrants higher placement, as determined by the Regional Medical Lead of the Employer (or designate).
12.04 Incremental increases for Full-Time Employees shall be made in accordance with Schedule "A" on the Employee's anniversary date of employment with the Employer in the classification. Increments shall be paid effective from the actual anniversary date. An Employee’s anniversary date for increment purposes shall be delayed by one (1) day for each day of unpaid leave of absence in excess of four (4) weeks.
12.05 A Part-Time Employee shall receive increments (calculated from the date of their last increment, or their starting date as the case may be) on the basis of one
(1) increment for each equivalent annual full-time hours worked as per Article 9.
01. Increments shall be paid effective the pay period immediately following the adjusted effective increment date.

(b) A nurse employed at a Nurse III, IV, V classification shall be granted a starting salary that is not less than one (1) increment step above what her/his starting salary would be if she/he were employed as a Nurse II.
(c) A nurse in good standing as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse in another country, province, or territory will commence employment at the "R.N/R.P.N." start rate presently in effect at the facility and, upon providing proof of Manitoba registration not later than six (6) calendar months following commencement of her/his employment, shall receive recognition of previous experience as specified in sub-clauses (a) and (b) above, retroactively to the date of commencing employment.
(d) The starting salary of a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse who has had previous experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse shall com- mence at the R.N./R.P.N. 1 Year rate as specified in Appendix "A", and after not more than three (3) months from the date of commencement of her/his employment as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse, the Employer shall, on the basis of written performance appraisal discussed with her/him, grant such additional increments as performance warrants, with a minimum of one (1) increment for each two (2) years worke...
SALARIES AND INCREMENTS. 17:01 Employees shall be paid in accordance with Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of this Agreement. The granting of increases shall be contingent upon the employee having performed her duties in a satisfactory fashion.
(a) Salaries shall be paid bi-weekly to each employee in accordance with his grade listed in Schedule “A”.
(b) Upon discovery of a payroll error, the employee/Employer is responsible to report such error in pay to the Employer/employee as soon as possible.
(c) Errors in pay equivalent to one (1) full day (7.75 hrs) of regular pay or less made by the Employer shall be corrected on the next payday.
(d) Where there is money owing to the employee in excess of one (1) day (7.75 hrs) of regular pay, the employee shall, upon request, be paid by supplemental pay or manual cheque as soon as possible within the seven (7) calendar days following the day the error was reported.
17:03 Individual salary increases resulting from the wage schedule shall be implemented on the employee‟s increment date, regardless of position or classification. When an unpaid leave of absence in excess of four (4) weeks is granted, the annual increment for the employee shall move forward in direct relation to the length of the leave.
17:04 Employees temporarily assigned to relieve or replace employees in positions covered by this Collective Agreement that are higher than their normal class, shall be paid sixty-five cents ($0.65) per hour for hours so assigned.
17:05 An employee assigned, in writing by the Employer, to temporarily relieve or replace an employee whose position is outside of the bargaining unit will be paid eighty cents ($0.80) per hour above their existing rate of pay.
SALARIES AND INCREMENTS.
19:01 Employees shall be paid in accordance with the salary schedule attached to and forming part of this Agreement. The granting of the employee’s annual increment shall be contingent upon the employee having performed her duties in a satisfactory fashion and completion of a performance appraisal. Employee performance appraisals shall be conducted by supervisory staff at two (2) year intervals for employees who have reached the top increment in their respective classification as per the salary schedule.
(a) Salaries shall be paid biweekly to each employee in accordance with his grade listed in Schedule “A”.
(b) Upon discovery of a payroll error, the employee/Employer is responsible to report such error in pay to the Employer/employee as soon as possible.

SALARIES AND INCREMENTS.
16:01 Employees shall be paid in accordance with the Salary Schedule attached to and forming part of this Agreement. The granting of increases shall be contingent upon the employee having performed their duties in a satisfactory fashion.
(a) Salaries shall be paid bi-weekly to each employee in accordance with their classification listed in the Salary Schedule;
(b) The Employer or affected employee are responsible to report any errors in pay to the other party as soon as possible upon discovery. Errors are required to be resolved within a reasonable time frame.
(c) Errors in pay of less than eight (8) hours of pay made by the Employer shall be corrected on the next applicable pay;
(d) Errors in excess of eight (8) hours of pay made by the Employer shall be corrected. Where there is money owing to the employee, the employee shall be paid within three (3) business days following the day the error was reported, and where there is money owing to the Employer, it shall be recovered on the next applicable pay.
(a) Part-time employees who work more than half-time (twenty [20] hours/week) will receive their salary scale increment on an annual basis.
(b) A part-time employee who works less than half time (twenty [20] hours/week) will receive increments on the basis of one (1) increment for each 1,040 hours worked or one years’ service, whichever occurs later. In the case of the increment being applied to the 1,040 hours, it shall be applied to the pay period following the completion of 1,040 hours worked.
(c) Upon successful completion of an employee's probationary period, they shall be provided with a probationary increment of fifteen cents ($0.15) above step one (1) of their wage scale. This shall not affect an employee's increment step entitlement as described in (a) and (b) above.
16:04 Employees with fifteen (15) years or more of continued service shall receive an additional step which provides fifty cents ($0.50) to be added to their current hourly rate of pay exclusive of any general wage increases negotiated between the parties. Continuous service shall be calculated based on the continuous calendar years of service in an EFT position (full-time, part-time or term).

SALARIES AND INCREMENTS. 21:01 Employees shall be paid in accordance with the Salary Schedule attached to and forming part of this Agreement. The granting of increases shall be contingent upon the employee having performed her duties in a satisfactory fashion.
21:02 Salaries shall be paid biweekly to each employee in accordance with his classification listed in Salary Schedule.
21:03 If an employee meets the criteria as laid out in Article 21 and 8:05 of the Collective Agreement they shall be entitled to an increment as follows:
(a) Upon the commencement of full-time employment, the employee shall be entitled to a merit increase upon completion of one (1) full year of continuous service and each subsequent year thereafter, until they reach the maximum rate of pay for their classification.
(b) In a transition year when an employee moves from a full-time to a part- time or a part-time to a full-time position within the same classification, they shall be entitled to a merit increase as per the wage schedule after they have completed the required number of hours as per Article 8:05 and one year of service unless altered by the terms of this agreement. During this transition year, all regular paid hours since their last increment shall be included in the calculation.
(c) In either Articles 21:03(a), (b) or 8:05, when an unpaid leave of absence in excess of four (4) weeks is granted, the annual increment for an employee shall move forward in direct relation to the length of the leave.
(d) Employees who move to a new classification will have a new increment date established based upon the date of hire into the new position.
(e) At no time during a year of service will any employee be entitled to more than one increment.
21:04 Where a merit increase is not granted to an employee on the employee’s increment date:
(a) The employee shall be notified of the merit increase denial on or before the applicable increment date. The employee shall be provided with the reasons in writing why the merit increase was denied;
(b) The merit increase may be granted to the employee on any subsequent monthly increment date which is not less than three (3) months from the employee’s increment date. The effective date for such a merit increase shall be the first day of the biweekly pay period which includes the subsequent monthly increment date referred to;
(c) The employee may file a grievance at the appropriate step of the grievance procedure; no grievance may be initiated where a merit increase is not grant...
SALARIES AND INCREMENTS. (a) The salaries and allowances payable to Employees are set out in Schedule 2.
(b) Where allowance and salary increments are provided for an Employee's classification, the Employee shall be entitled to progress through the annual increments on the anniversary of their employment, subject to the following:
(i) an Employee who has worked an average of 24 hours per week, or less, in a year shall be required to work a further twelve months before being eligible for advancement to the next succeeding experience increment (if any), within the grade in which the Employee is employed.

11:05 A full time employee shall be eligible to receive an increment in salary on their anniversary date; however if moving from part-time to full-time, their new anniversary date will become the date on which they complete 1500 regular hours of service since their last increment was granted.
11:06 A part time employee shall be eligible to receive an increment in salary on their anniversary date subject to the completion of 1500 regular hours of service. A part-time employee shall be eligible to receive their next increment once they have worked 1500 hours from the receipt of their last increment. A part-time employee is only eligible to receive a maximum of one increment within any twelve (12) month period.
