UNIFORMS/CLOTHING. A) The provision of Winter Weather Outwear (overalls and jackets) for employees whose work is such that winter weather outwear is needed to perform the work assignment will be provided on an “as needed basis” and at the complete and sole discretion of the City.

UNIFORMS/CLOTHING. An employee shall, on leaving employment, return the current issue of uniform clothing which has been issued to them by the Agency in good order, reasonable wear and tear excepted. An employee failing to do so shall be charged an amount equal to the cost price of the uniform/clothing concerned.
UNIFORMS/CLOTHING a) Each employee in Red Deer or other location shall be provided winter and summer clothing including trousers and shorts in accordance with the regulations stipulated by either the City of Lethbridge or the City of Red Deer, as applicable. Full time employees will receive an annual allowance of one hundred twenty five dollars ($125) for trousers and shorts. Part time employees shall receive an annual allowance of fifty dollars ($50) for trousers and shorts. b) Each employee in Calgary shall be supplied by the employer with Enmax approved coveralls, and an Enmax approved safety vest. If an employee does not wish to use these coveralls the employer will then provide the employee one-hundred twenty-five dollars ($125.00) of credit at an employer designated store. If this store is unable to provide appropriate clothing, the employee may use a store of his/her choice and must provide receipts to be reimbursed. The employee is then responsible to purchase, at their own cost, and wear Enmax approved fire retardant outerwear. The employee must use this approved outerwear all year round.
UNIFORMS/CLOTHING. A. Exempt employees whose assignment requires that they wear a uniform while performing certain responsibilities of the position shall be provided uniforms which have been approved by the department and which are compatible with those worn by the officers of the department. The department will not provide, nor compensate employees, for the purchase of clothing that may be considered normal wearing apparel. B. Replacement of any equipment, accessories, clothing or repair including alterations, parts, and resoling of shoes will be done on an as needed basis by the City upon request and with approval of the Chief of Police or his/her designee.
UNIFORMS/CLOTHING. 19.1 When uniforms are required by the Company, they will be provided at no cost to employees who have completed the probationary period, as well as subsequent essential replacements. UNIFORMS/CLOTHING. 23.1 All protective clothing and equipment as required by the Washington Vertical Safety Standards for Fire Fighters and other applicable statutes shall be supplied and cleaned at no cost to employees covered under this Agreement. 23.2 The City shall furnish uniforms, as determined by the Fire Chief, to new employees as soon as possible after the employee’s date of hire.

UNIFORMS/CLOTHING. Section 1. The County will provide an annual reimbursement allowance, not to exceed $550 for uniforms/clothing to Facility Maintenance employees to purchase and maintain 7 sets of uniform shirts (including an optional 3 white shirts for the landscaping crew) and pants, 1 winter uniform coat, and 1 summer uniform coat in good condition. Uniform cleaning is to be done by the employees. The employer will identify an approved vendor(s) where employees may purchase an approved style and color on a “replacement as needed” basis. Within the uniform/clothing allowance, belts, coveralls, hats and other items may be purchased. The Employer shall continue to provide necessary specialty clothing and PPE as current practice, including, but not limited to, rain gear, environmental coveralls, arc flash clothing, etc. Section 2. Employees required to wear protective footwear will be reimbursed up to $175 per calendar year upon employee providing proof of purchase. Section 3. Employer approved and preauthorized prescription safety glasses shall be provided to persons occupying positions designated as needing such by the Employer on an as needed basis up to $250.00. Such glasses are intended to be used for on-the- job safety and productivity and are not intended for general use by the Employee. Replacement shall be limited to damage to such glasses on-the-job or when documented prescription changes are warranted. The Employer shall designate a vendor for such glasses.
UNIFORMS/CLOTHING. Within 21 days of hire the City shall provide new Employees with the initial clothing allotment (Appendix D). As of August 31, of each year of this agreement the Employer shall determine what existing outerwear garments are serviceable and what needs re-issue by September 30. For Employees hired after September 30, the outerwear shall be issued within 21 days of hire. Footwear - A maximum of $300.00 per calendar year will be provided. Employees shall be allowed to roll over the $300.00 allotment for 2 years for a total of $600.00, if warranted for the purchase or repair of work appropriate footwear. The receipt for reimbursement shall be submitted to the City with the personal expense voucher for payment. No reimbursements will be made after receipt of the separation notice.
UNIFORMS/CLOTHING. In order to promote a professional appearance and uniformity within the school cafeteria, uniforms/clothing will be worn to all food service staff. The uniform/clothing items typically will consist of: pants, shirts, aprons, visors, hat/hair nets, and will be ordered by the food service director from district approved vendors. In addition, the district shall reimburse employees no more than $65, per year, for black, non skid work shoes.
