Union Official. One (1) Company employee will be allowed to serve as a full-time paid (by Union) official and maintain continuous seniority for a maximum of twelve (12) months, along with wage progression rights;
Union Official. The term Union Official as used in this agreement means, Any DynCorp International personnel elected to hold Local Lodge 24 Executive Board positions.
Union Official. Any bargaining unit member elected or appointed to a position on the Executive Board of the Union may be permitted sufficient off duty time upon prior notification to his supervisor, to attend union general membership meetings and union Executive Board Meetings. Should such meeting conflict with the Union Official’s scheduled duty hours, the Sheriff shall have the option of rescheduling the Official’s days off or shift within the Bureau (whichever the employer chooses) so as not to conflict with such attendance.
Union Official. Any one employee may be granted a leave of absence, without loss of seniority, to serve as a Union official. The employee shall continue to accrue seniority while on the leave of absence. Upon return, the employee shall return to the step the employee would have attained if the employee had been continuously employed. The employee must give thirty (30) days notice before the leave of absence is to begin. The thirty (30) day period of notification may be waived by mutual consent. The leave must be requested in writing. All vacation leave shall be paid on the last pay period the employee is in pay status. Any notice to return to the County must be made to the Director of Human Resources. The returning employee shall be placed in a like or similar position with all corresponding rights of seniority. No current County employee shall lose their employment because of this section. If no current County position is available, the employee shall be notified of the next vacancy for which they are qualified. The employee may refuse two (2) jobs. After two (2) jobs are refused, the County has no obligation to notify the employee of further vacancies and the employee may compete for other jobs within the County.
Union Official. Refers both singly and collectively to the Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary, and Warden of Local 1010.

Union Official. The highest ranking Union official in the Bargaining Unit, upon election to that post and as long as he continues in that post, or that person’s designee, will be permitted sufficient time off to attend to Union and Agreement matters within his/her capacity. However, in no event will more than thirty-two (32) hours per two (2) month period be allowed. These hours will only be used to attend to Agreement matters or to attend or perform scheduled Union functions that are necessary to the operation of the Union. The person taking time off under this Article to perform these functions bears the ultimate responsibility for insuring that his/her time cards sheets accurately reflect the amount of time expended and the activity performed. When a Union official is requested by the City to attend a meeting or otherwise attend to labor relations matters, the time spent does not count towards the thirty-two hour allotment. Whenever such highest ranking official is absent due to approved leave (i.e., sick leave, injury leave, vacation leave, etc.) or City Administration- authorized training which is of a duration of more than five (5) workdays, the next highest ranking Union official who is a member of the Bargaining Unit shall perform these functions during such absence. During such service in this post, the above-designated officials shall continue their entitlement to wages, fringe benefits, seniority accrual and all other benefits allowed a Bargaining Unit member as though they were at all times performing their job-related duties.
Union Official. The term Union Official as used in this agreement means, Any Tech Systems personnel elected to hold Local Lodge 24 Executive Board positions.
Union Official. The duly elected or appointed officials of the Union including stewards.
Union Official. Requests for additional Union officials will be approved whenever possible, but in any event such requests will not be unreasonably denied. The Local Union President agrees to give as much advance notice as possible to the Plant Manager when such time off is requested, and to cooperate in filling resulting vacancies without additional cost to the Company.
