Union Picnic Day. The designated Union Picnic Day shall for the purposes of this Agreement, be regarded as a holiday for employees who are financial members of the Union. The Union shall advise the Company of current financial members at least two weeks prior to the scheduled Union Picnic Day. The Union Picnic Day shall be observed on such a day as is agreed between the Company and the Union. Where an employee, who is not a financial member of the Union is required to work on the Union Picnic Day, the employee shall be entitled to be paid ordinary pay for the normal working day. Employees who are not financial members of the Union and not required by the Company to work on the designated Union Picnic Day, may apply to the Company to take Annual Leave, leave without pay or such other leave as may be approved by the Company.
Union Picnic Day. (i)
(a) Union Picnic Day shall, for the purposes of this Award, be regarded as a holiday for employees who are financial members of the union(s). The Union Picnic Day shall be on such day as is agreed between the Company and the union(s).
(b) The union(s) shall advise the Company of financial members as at the time of the Union Picnic Day. Such advice must be given at least two weeks prior to the Union Picnic Day.
Union Picnic Day. 31.1 Union Picnic Day shall be regarded as a holiday for employees who are financial members of the union (s). The Union Picnic Day shall be on the first Friday in the New South Wales spring school holidays.
31.2 Employees who are not members of the union(s) and who are not required by Council to work on Union Picnic Day may apply to take other types of leave as may be approved by Council. The union will not claim an additional holiday for union members as a result of non-union members taking other types of leave on Union Picnic Day.
31.3 Employees who are financial members of the union(s) who are required to work on the Union Picnic Day, will be paid at appropriate overtime penalty rates applicable to public holidays.
31.4 Where an employee who is a financial member of the union(s) is absent on approved annual, or long service which overlaps with the Union Picnic Day, payment for the Union Picnic Day will continue to apply in substitution for the approved leave.
Union Picnic Day. The benefits of clause 28 - Union Picnic Day - of the Transport Industry (State) Award, shall apply to all transport workers who are covered by this agreement, who are financial members' of the Union (this includes casual employees who are regular casuals having worked for a minimum period of six months).
Union Picnic Day. 43.2.1 Union Picnic Day shall be regarded as a holiday for employees who are financial members of the union/s. The Union Picnic Day shall be on the first Friday in the New South Wales Spring school holidays.
43.2.2 The union/s shall provide Council with a list of Union financial members at least two (2) weeks prior to the Union Picnic Day.
43.2.3 Employees who are not financial members of the union/s and who are required to work on the Union Picnic Day, shall be paid ordinary pay for their normal working day.
43.2.4 Employees who are not financial members of the union/s and who are not required to work on Union Picnic Day, may apply to Council to take Annual Leave, Long Service Leave, Time Off in Lieu of Overtime, Leave Without Pay, such other leave as may be approved by the employer, or may be required by the employer to make up time.
43.2.5 Employees who are financial members of the union/s who are directed by their supervisor/manager to work on the Union Picnic Day will be paid at appropriate overtime penalty rates applicable to public holidays.
Union Picnic Day. (i) Union Picnic Day shall for the purposes of the BCCMCBE agreement be regarded as a holiday for employees who are financial members of the union(s). The Union Picnic Day shall be on such day as is agreed between the council and the union(s).
(ii) The union(s) shall advise the council of financial members as at the time of the Union Picnic Day. Such advice must be given at least two weeks prior to the Union Picnic Day.
(iii) Employees who are not financial members of the union(s) and who are required to work on Union Picnic Day, shall be paid ordinary pay for their normal working day.
(iv) Employees who are not financial members of the union(s) and who are not required to work on Union Picnic Day, may apply to council to take annual leave, time off in lieu of overtime, leave without pay, such other leave as may be approved by council, or may be required by council to make up time.
Union Picnic Day. The benefits of clause 28 - Union Picnic day- of the Award, will apply to all permanent employees , provided they are financial members of the TWU as defined in clause 28.4 of the Award, who are covered by this Agreement.. This clause will also apply to casuals provided however that such casuals work no less that 38 ordinary hours per week and are financial members of the TWU as defined in clause 28.4 of the Award. Providing further that such employees have worked full time for a period of no less than three months in the period immediately leading up to the date of the Picnic day. Notwithstanding the above, the Picnic day will not apply to employees who are receiving an alternative benefit in lieu of the Picnic day.

Union Picnic Day. No work will be scheduled on the Union picnic day which occurs on the first Monday in December each year, or on a substitute day as agreed with a majority of Employees. This is a paid day off. If an Employee is required to work on the Union picnic day and that day hasn't been substituted in accordance with this clause, then the employee will be afforded a minimum of four (4) hours work or paid as such, and paid at the rate of double time and a half of their ordinary wage rate of pay for all hours worked.
