UNION VISITS. Union representatives who are not employees of the College shall notify the Xxxx prior to visiting the College and may not disrupt the work activities of the faculty members.
UNION VISITS. Duly accredited paid employees of the Union will be permitted to enter Anixter Center’s premises during working hours for the purpose of adjusting disputes, investigating working conditions and ascertaining that this Agreement is being adhered to, provided that such representatives follow Anixter Center’s rules and regulations upon entering and leaving any of the Agency programs as set forth in Section 1(b) above and further provided that the President or his designee be given prior notice in advance of the representatives’ visit, except in cases of emergency. Such visits will be reasonable in frequency and duration and shall not in any way interfere with any Agency program or function.
UNION VISITS. The designated business agent and/or other union representatives will be allowed access and visitation rights to City property and facilities provided advance notification of such visit is given to the appropriate supervisor and the visitation will not disrupt the workplace nor interfere with productivity. Any employee called away from his work station (including Union stewards) to confer with the Union Business Representative must do so on non-City paid time and remain in such an unpaid status for the duration of the interview. Permission for an employee to leave their work station must be received in advance from the supervisor. The Union agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the City for any loss, damages or claim arising out of such visits.
UNION VISITS. An authorized representative or executive officer of the Union shall be permitted, with the consent of the Location Manager, which will not be unreasonably denied, to talk with an employee regarding Union matters during regular working hours. The interview of such employee by the Union representative or executive officer shall be carried on in a place provided for, and designated by, the Employer. Time taken by such interview in excess of five (5) minutes shall not be on Employer time. Time taken for such visits shall not disrupt the serving of customers.
UNION VISITS. A full-time representative of the Union, after obtaining permission from the Branch Manager or his designate, and after presenting identification, if requested, shall be allowed to enter the Company premises for the purpose of administering the terms of this Collective Agreement. Permission by the Branch Manager or his designate will not be unreasonably withheld. There shall be no interference with service to customers.
UNION VISITS. 24.01 The City shall admit to the City property during working hours any authorized representative or representatives of the Union for the purpose of ascertaining whether or not this Agreement is being observed by the parties hereto and to assist in adjusting grievances. This privilege shall be so exercised that no time is lost unnecessarily to the City. Such Union representative(s) shall make arrangements for such visits with the City Manager or their designated representative before entering the City premises.
UNION VISITS. The Union agrees that it, or its members or representatives will not conduct Union business on Company time.
Section 2. Local Union Officers and designated service representatives shall have the right to visit the Company’s Worthington, MN facility at any time during working hours for the purpose of investigating grievances, or for reviewing the operations, and to generally carry out the terms and conditions of the agreement, with notice to the Plant General Manager or the Managers representative. Should such Union representative find it necessary to visit any specific locations in the production areas, the Company will upon reasonable notice make arrangements for such visit and accompany such Union representative to the area(s). The Union shall supply an up to date listing of all authorized offices, representatives, and stewards of the Local Union to the Plant General Manager or the Manager’s designee.
Section 3. The Company agrees that the Union may request that a UFCW International time study Engineer be allowed to visit production areas of the plant. Should this become necessary, the Manager or Superintendent will, upon proper advanced notice to management, be ready, within a reasonable amount of time, to accompany the engineer in visiting any specific locations that might be necessary.
Section 4. The Company agrees to allow, during orientation, Union representatives the opportunity to discuss the Union’s role at the Worthington plant and solicit signatures on application and dues authorization forms. Such presentations will not normally exceed one half (1/2) hour.
UNION VISITS. Authorized union representatives shall be permitted to visit exempt union employees on campus when such visits will not interfere with the exempt union employee’s duty assignment or normal College operations. The authorized union representative will notify the Human Resources office before arriving on campus.
UNION VISITS. The Union President and/or other duly designated union representative(s) may visit employee work areas at any time during working hours, provided such visit does not interfere with the employees duties. The union will notify the employer or Project Manager twenty-four (24) hours prior to entering the work area.
UNION VISITS. Union Representatives will visit the facility without disruption to the operation/patient flow, but shall have access to employees. Upon receipt of reported violations, the Union Representative shall have the privilege of visiting for the purpose of investigating such violations. Such meetings shall be held on the premises in a place designated by the Employer. Further, the Union Representatives and employees shall not engage in Union activities during working hours. The Employer shall permit the Union Representative, upon request of the Union, to check the list of employees of the preceding months and to check the wage scale of each employee.
