Use of Sick. Leave When sick leave is used, it shall be deducted from the member’s credit on the basis of one (1) hour for every one (1) hour of absence from previously scheduled work. Sick leave with pay may be granted only upon the approval of the Chief of Police for the following reasons: A. Sickness of the member where such sickness renders the member incapable of performing the member’s regular duties or restricted duties, if available, during the period of convalescence. Sickness shall also include a pregnancy related condition of a pregnant member, where such condition renders the member incapable of performing the member’s regular duties or restricted duties, if available, during the member’s pregnancy. B. Injury to the member where such injury renders the member incapable of performing the member’s regular duties or restricted duties, if available, during the period of convalescence, except where such injury is incurred in the performance of the member’s employment with the Township. C. If approved by the Chief of Police, medical, dental, or optical consultation or treatment of the member when the same cannot be obtained during off duty time. Sick leave used for such appointments shall be limited to reasonable travel time and appointment time. Upon the member’s return to duty, the Chief of Police may require the member to furnish a certificate from the doctor confirming the member’s attendance at the consultation or treatment. D. Sickness of a member’s immediate family living in the member’s household which requires the presence of the member at home. Unless otherwise approved by the Chief of Police, a member shall be granted no more than five (5) workdays in any calendar year for sickness in the immediate family requiring the presence at home of the member. The Chief of Police may require that the member furnish a medical certificate from a licensed practitioner to verify this use of sick time. The immediate family shall only include a member’s spouse, dependent children and parents. E. Quarantine of a member because of exposure to a contagious disease or chemical spill. The Chief of Police may require a certificate of a licensed practitioner before paying any member under this paragraph. F. In the event a member uses all injury leave time, and is still unable to return to active duty, the member may, with the approval of and subject to such conditions as determined by the Chief of Police, use any sick leave, compensatory time and vacation time to which the m...

Use of Sick. Leave in Lieu of Bereavement Leave - An employee eligible for 8 leave who has exhausted his/her bereavement leave, will be entitled to use sick leave in the amount of 9 three (3) working days for each instance when death occurs to a member of the employee’s 10 immediate family.
Use of Sick. Emergency Leave for an emergency caused by family illness, where no reasonable alternative is available, shall be subject to the conditions set forth in 6.E.2 above.
Use of Sick. Leave Employees will be entitled to sick leave for: (a) Illness or injury of the employee or a member of his immediate family living with the employee. (In case of a member of the immediate family not living in the same household, the Safety Service Director may approve sick leave when he believes it justified.) (b) Medical dental or optical examination or treatment of employee or member of his immediate family. (c) If a member of the immediate family is afflicted with a contagious disease and requires the care and attendance of the employee; or when through exposure to a contagious disease the presence of the employee at his job would jeopardize the health of others.
Use of Sick. Emergency Leave shall be reported to the employee's supervisor prior to the start of the work shift, when possible, and will become effective upon the first day of absence.
Use of Sick leave allotment shall be in accordance with the applicable requirements and Provincial and Federal statutes and regulations in force during the term of this Agreement.

  • Use of Site 4.13.1 The Contractor shall confine operations at the site to areas permitted by law, including areas designated for operations or prohibited from operations by any applicable permit and or regulation, ordinances, permits and the Contract Documents and shall not unreasonably encumber the site with any materials or equipment.

  • Use of Sick Leave Sick leave is available the first day of the pay period following the pay period in which it was earned, and is taken in units of one-tenth (1/10) of one hour.   • Use of School Buildings The ASSOCIATION and its representatives shall have the right to use school buildings at all reasonable hours for meetings. This use must be within the hours when custodians are regularly employed and within accepted school policy.

The Adviser hereby consents to the use by the Fund of the name “Xxxxx Xxxxx” as part of the Fund’s name; provided, however, that such consent shall be conditioned upon the employment of the Adviser or one of its affiliates as the investment adviser of the Fund. The name “Xxxxx Xxxxx” or any variation thereof may be used from time to time in other connections and for other purposes by the Adviser and its affiliates and other investment companies that have obtained consent to the use of the name “Xxxxx Xxxxx.” The Adviser shall have the right to require the Fund to cease using the name “Xxxxx Xxxxx” as part of the Fund’s name if the Fund ceases, for any reason, to employ the Adviser or one of its affiliates as the Fund’s investment adviser. Future names adopted by the Fund for itself, insofar as such names include identifying words requiring the consent of the Adviser, shall be the property of the Adviser and shall be subject to the same terms and conditions.

  • Use of websites (a) The Guarantor may satisfy its obligation to deliver any public information to the Lenders by posting this information onto an electronic website designated by the Guarantor and the Administrative Agent (the “Designated Website”) by notifying the Administrative Agent (i) of the address of the website together with any relevant password specifications and (ii) that such information has been posted on the website; provided, that in any event the Guarantor shall supply the Administrative Agent with one copy in paper form of any information which is posted onto the website. (b) The Administrative Agent shall supply each Lender with the address of and any relevant password specifications for the Designated Website following designation of that website by the Guarantor and the Administrative Agent. (c) The Guarantor shall promptly upon becoming aware of its occurrence notify the Administrative Agent if: (i) the Designated Website cannot be accessed due to technical failure; (ii) the password specifications for the Designated Website change; (iii) any new information which is required to be provided under this Guaranty is posted onto the Designated Website; (iv) any existing information which has been provided under this Guaranty and posted onto the Designated Website is amended; or (v) the Guarantor becomes aware that the Designated Website or any information posted onto the Designated Website is or has been infected by any electronic virus or similar software. If the Guarantor notifies the Administrative Agent under Section 8.3(c)(i) or Section 8.3(c)(v) above, all information to be provided by the Guarantor under this Guaranty after the date of that notice shall be supplied in paper form unless and until the Administrative Agent is satisfied that the circumstances giving rise to the notification are no longer continuing.

  • Use of Name (a) The Sub-Adviser hereby consents to the use of its name and the names of its affiliates in the Fund’s disclosure documents, shareholder communications, advertising, sales literature and similar communications. The Sub-Adviser shall not use the name or any tradename, trademark, trade device, service xxxx, symbol or any abbreviation, contraction or simulation thereof of the Adviser, the Trust, the Fund or any of their affiliates in its marketing materials unless it first receives prior written approval of the Trust and the Adviser. (b) It is understood that the name of each party to this Agreement, and any derivatives thereof or logos associated with that name, is the valuable property of the party in question and its affiliates, and that each other party has the right to use such names pursuant to the relationship created by, and in accordance with the terms of, this Agreement only so long as this Agreement shall continue in effect. Upon termination of this Agreement, the parties shall forthwith cease to use the names of the other parties (or any derivative or logo) as appropriate and to the extent that continued use is not required by applicable laws, rules and regulations.

  • Use of Logos The Company hereby consents to the use of its and its Subsidiaries’ logos in connection with the Debt Financing so long as such logos (i) are used solely in a manner that is not intended to or likely to harm or disparage the Company Group or the reputation or goodwill of the Company Group; (ii) are used solely in connection with a description of the Company, its business and products or the Merger; and (iii) are used in a manner consistent with the other terms and conditions that the Company reasonably imposes.
