DO Treat everyone with respect regardless of gender, ethnicity, disability, sexuality or religious beliefs Look after yourself and others Fulfil the expected volunteer role including duties, working days and working times Follow rules and all reasonable instructions at the project and from support staff Follow local laws and respect local customs Follow Pod Volunteer’s Child and Vulnerable Adult Protection Policy, where applicable Bring any concerns or issues to the attention of the local team / Pod Volunteer UK office as soon as possible DON’T Put yourself or others at risk Do anything that could cause harm to people, animals, property or the environment Behave in any way that is inappropriate, illegal or could jeopardise the work of Pod Volunteer and its Partner projects Be absent without prior communication Discriminate in any way Display any form of aggression or abuse to others Have any inappropriate physical, verbal, electronic or online contact with others If you significantly break this agreement and/or Volunteer Code of Conduct or you persistently behave in a manner which is, in the view of Pod Volunteer or their Partners, incompatible with the spirit of the Programme, Pod Volunteer and/or their Partners retain the right to terminate the Programme without further notice. You are not eligible for any refund of monies you have paid to Pod Volunteer in this situation. If the Programme is terminated as a result of your conduct, you are responsible for making and paying for any additional travel arrangements to leave the Programme early.
Volunteer Code of Conduct. As an ambassador of the University of Illinois by volunteering my services, I am committed to: • Being dependable and accepting responsibility for performing my volunteer assignments. • Treating all individuals with respect and dignity. • Respecting all confidential information. • Complying with University policy and mandated reporting in cases of suspectedchild abuse or neglect, or sexual abuse or harassment. • Refraining from the use of video, audio, or photographic recording equipmentunless given explicit permission to do so. • Avoiding conflict-of-interest situations and actions that may be perceived as such. Volunteer Code of Conduct. I agree to conform to the rules and regulations of the City of Sacramento (City). I understand I will begin service on a reciprocal trail basis. I agree to participate in orientation and training. I understand a law enforcement clearance may be obtained and references may be contacted. I am authorizing the City of Sacramento to contact my references. I understand I have committed to my volunteer schedule, and realize the City is depending on my services. If I am unable to keep my commitments, I will notify my supervisor in advance. I agree and understand any work I perform within the scope of this agreement will be provided on a voluntary basis, and I do not expect payment or other compensation for performing such work. I also understand a volunteer position does not constitute an employee-employer relationship with the City of Sacramento, and I serve at the discretion of the City Manager or designee. If I am currently a City employee I know any volunteer work to be performed is outside of my regular job classification and is separate from any paid work responsibility. I agree not to divulge any information regarding persons who are receiving services or other assistance from the City or otherwise involved in my volunteer services. I recognize unauthorized release of confidential information may make me subject to criminal action. I understand I am fully responsible for maintaining my own personal records of time volunteered to the City for the purposes of internships, community service, etc., subject to my supervisor’s verification. At the end of my volunteer service I can have my supervisor sign a letter documenting hours donated, and I understand the City will maintain no permanent record of this time. I understand I will be required to sign in and out. I understand the City has a zero-tolerance policy against any type of harassment or discrimination. I agree to comply with this policy, and recognize I will also be protected by it.

Volunteer Code of Conduct. Thank you for your interest in the Jan & Oscar Foundation! Xxxx Xxxxx is a district of Uthai Thani Province, located in the center of Thailand, 280km (3 hours by car) from Bangkok. The district is made up of 96 villages with a population of 45,000 inhabitants (2008). Xxxx Xxxxx is far from tourist centers and there is thus no night life, apart from a few restaurants open at night. On-site managers do offer the possibility of organizing weekend visits to the city of Uthai Thani, to some of the surrounding Buddhist temples, or even to the old royal city of Ayuttaya, which is more touristy (150km away). It is possible to plan, on your own, a weekend in Bangkok or Chiang Mai using public transport. This is a total immersion experience in Thai culture through contact with young children and teachers who speak very little to no English. You should not present any somatic or psychological problems which could impede or jeopardize your volunteer activity. You are no afraid of extreme heat, you are adaptable, capable of exchanges with people who are different from you and your culture, and you are motivated to discover a new lifestyle. Number of volunteers 2 to 4 people maximum, of a minimum of 18 years of age. Life at the hostel See Housing Regulations English workshops See Volunteer Requirement Specifications School hours Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 12:00 et de 13:00 à 16:00. Lunches are taken at school with the teachers and students. Classrooms have fans. WiFi is available in school common rooms (teachers’ room). Class makeup Students are between the ages of 5 and 12 and are divided into classes of 6 to 12 students on average. Each class is assigned a Thai teacher (homeroom teacher) who teaches, in principle, all of the subjects. Some schools have an English teacher. The distribution of classes and school hours is made according to an agreement between the volunteers and Ms. Pornpaka Palajit (Theow). Dress attire Make sure to have proper attire when teaching. Men must wear pants (or shorts covering the knees). Women may wear skirts/dresses covering the knees or loose pants. Shoulders must be covered and plunging necklines avoided. Tight clothes are not comfortable in very hot weather. Teachers and students wear a uniform. * * * You will be living in a small community; we rely on your common sense to make your presence pleasant, both for yourself and for others. Have a good stay! Volunteer Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct applies to all persons volunteering their services to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF). As a volunteer, you need to: • Know that you are important to the success of NBCF - NBCF will strive to provide you with a beneficial volunteer experience. • Be positive - Volunteers are a vital link to the public community and enable the NBCF to raise funds for breast cancer research. Please act positively when representing or speaking on behalf of the organisation. • Ask for support - When you are unsure, ask for help. Nobody knows everything, and nobody is expected to be perfect. Asking questions avoids many problems down the road. • Record your shift - Please sign in and out with each shift. It is important that we keep a record of your hours. • Be honest - Be honest with regards to the amount of time you can realistically commit to. We will fit in with whatever time you have to offer. • Be reliable - If you work as a volunteer in the NBCF office or at one of the NBCF fund raising activities, we rely on your involvement as scheduled. • Undertake training - Volunteers are provided with appropriate training at induction, as well as continuing training as required. • Value and support others - You are working with others as a team so be considerate of how your actions or contribution affects your colleagues and the NBCF as a whole. • Be responsible and ethical - You will receive an outline of key areas of responsibility either in a job description or a call to action. • Be respectful -Treat one another with respect. Everyone can make a valuable contribution and members of NBCF community are expected to be respectful when dealing with other volunteers as well as with people from outside projects and initiatives. • Be confidential - Depending on your volunteer role, you may be privy to various levels of information on the NBCF. • Engaging with the media - Specific NBCF staff will be responsible for all media. No volunteer may contact the media or release any names, photographs or articles (before, during or after and event) to any media organisation. All written articles must be viewed by NBCF prior to release. • Customer complaints - All complaints should be referred to your supervisor or the Engagement Manager. • Additional support - You need to notify the Engagement Manager prior to volunteering to make sure all volunteers are accounted for and registered with the NBCF. • Smoking, drugs and alcohol - Please refrain from using tobacco (i...
