Local Union Business Leave. The Hospital agrees to grant leaves of absence without pay to local bargaining unit members for the purpose of attending Union seminars and/or attending to Union business. The cumulative total leave of absence will be determined locally, but shall not exceed sixty (60) days per year per hospital. The amount of notice required and the number of employees who may be absent at any one time and from any one area shall be determined locally and will be set out in the Local Provisions Appendix.

It is also being understood that requests for such leave are to be submitted in writing to the Co-ordinator, Labour Relations, London Health Sciences Centre at least (14) days prior to the commencement of the function for which the leave is requested and shall state particulars thereof.

LP5.01 Per Article 14.02 of the Central Agreement, the amount of notice required is two (2) weeks and the number of employees who may be absent at any one time may not exceed three (3) with no more than one (1) employee from within a work unit. LP5.02 As per Article 14.02 of the Central Agreement, the Hospital agrees to grant leaves of absence without pay to Local bargaining unit members for the purposes of attending Union seminars or meetings to a cumulative maximum of five (5) days per year.

Local Union Business Leave. E-1 As provided for in Article 14.02, no more than one full-time and one part-time employee will be absent from any one area. For the purposes of Local Union business, the Local Union President shall be entitled to up to sixty (60) hours leave from April 1st of the current year to march 31st of the following year. For purposes of such leave, if the local Union President is not an employee of the Hospital, the local Union President will identify in writing to the Hospital a designate who is a hospital employee and Union xxxxxxx. An employee will suffer no loss of pay, benefits or seniority during such leave, the scheduling of which will be by mutual agreement between the employee and his/her supervisor.
Local Union Business Leave. For the purposes of Article (a), the amount of notice required by the Hospital for Local Union Business Leave shall be two (2) weeks where possible. No more than four (4)employees hall be granted such leave at any one time. No more than two (2) employees shall be granted Local Union Business Leave from one specific department.
Local Union Business Leave. R.01 The Hospital shall provide time off of two days per quarter for the Local President.
