Overtime Accumulation may be accrued as compensatory time if requested by the employee. The maximum accumulation of compensatory time shall be forty (40) hours. A. Employees may carry over ten (10) hours into the following calendar year. Compensatory time in excess of the ten (10) hours carry over shall be paid to the employee at the applicable rate of pay. Any compensatory time balance as of the last pay period of the calendar year in which the pay date is the latest pay date of the calendar year shall be cashed out.
