Association Leave Time Clause Samples
The Association Leave Time clause establishes the right for employees to take time off from work to participate in activities related to their professional association or union. Association Leave Time. In the event that the Union desires to send representatives to local, state, or national conferences, or other pertinent business they shall be excused, without loss of pay or benefits, upon approval of the AIU Executive Board up to a maximum of six (6) days per academic year in total at no cost to the College. An additional two (2) days may be used through Article 10, section 2d. Notice to the appropriate ▇▇▇▇ will be made in writing a minimum of ten (10) school days prior to the event.
Association Leave Time. Up to eight (8) days total leave shall be allowed for the Association President(s), or his/her/their alternates, for Association business. Additional days or leaves may be granted at the Superintendent’s discretion. Notification of leave shall be presented by the Association President(s) in writing to the Superintendent at least one (1) week before the leave is to take effect. The Association shall reimburse the District at the current substitute rate. Other Leaves
Association Leave Time. A. The Board agrees to grant officially elected delegates of the Association time off with pay for the purpose of attending Association conventions, conferences or workshops provided that:
1. The total time off does not exceed an aggregate of two (2) working days for the life of the contract.
2. Not more than two (2) such Association delegates shall be permitted to attend such conventions or conferences at any one time.
3. Written request specifying the amount of time off to be received by the Board at least five (5) days in advance of granting of each time off. Under certain circumstances this five (5) day period may be waived by the Board.
A. Overtime
Association Leave Time. Subd. 1. The Association will notify the district of the elected and/or appointed representatives of the Association. Up to two Co-Presidents will be afforded reasonable time off without pay to conduct the duties of the Association.
Subd. 2. The employee requesting the time off for association business shall request the time via electronic Time Off at least five (5) days in advance.
Association Leave Time. 9.6.1 Upon the approval of the Sheriff (or designee) Association Officials and designated Association Members shall be allowed the required time, without loss of pay, to attend official Association conferences, legislative conventions, and state or national conferences.

Association Leave Time. The Employer shall grant the Association two (2) paid leave days per classification for the use of its representatives to conduct Association business or participate in Association activities providing a suitable substitute is available.
