ASSOCIATION OFFICERS’ LEAVE. 1. The Board shall grant a full time or part time leave of absence to employees elected as officers of the Association for a period of one (1) year. An application for leave must be made in writing to the Superintendent or designate by June 7 of the school year prior to the school year in which the leave is being requested.

ASSOCIATION OFFICERS’ LEAVE. Teachers who are officers of the Association shall be eligible for leave of absence of up to one (1) year to perform the duties of their office.
ASSOCIATION OFFICERS’ LEAVE. A leave of absence of up to two (2) years shall be granted to any teacher upon 12 application for the purpose of serving as an officer of the Association or on its staff. Upon return from such 13 leave, such teacher shall be placed at the same place of the salary schedule where he or she left. The 14 assignment will be made on the basis of qualifications and preparation, within the guidelines of the Tenure 15 Law. 16
ASSOCIATION OFFICERS’ LEAVE. Five (5) Association officers will be granted up to two (2) paid non-deductible leave days each for meetings with administrators in connection with negotiations and grievance proceedings.
ASSOCIATION OFFICERS’ LEAVE a. Upon request by the Association prior to June 1, the District will grant the Association President and Vice President a leave of absence without pay for their term of office. Such leave guarantees return to the same position or to a comparable position. Upon return to a District position, the SKEA President and Vice-President shall be placed on the salary schedule at the level which they would have achieved had they remained actively employed in the District. Furthermore, the SKEA President and Vice-President shall accrue all benefits in the same manner that they would have accrued benefits had they remained actively employed in the District. This unpaid leave shall be for the President and Vice-President to carry out the statutory duties of the Association as exclusive representative in collective bargaining, contract administration, grievance processing during the life of the contract, and related activities bearing a direct relationship to labor-management relationships between the Association and the District.

  • Union Officers Sufficient time off shall be granted to the four (4) Principal Officers of the Local 48 Union for the purpose of attending and conducting regular and special meetings of the Union. All hours associated with said work shall not be subject to the 2000-hour time bank identified in Section 1 of this Article. In addition, time off shall be granted to the four (4) principal officers of the Union and any other members of the Assistant Chiefs Negotiating Team, not to exceed two (2), during the term of deliberation of the Assistant Chiefs Negotiating Team. Time off for deliberations may not begin prior to nine (9) months before the contract expiration date. The aforementioned members of the negotiating team shall be granted up to five hundred (500) hours, in the aggregate, in order to prepare for negotiations. All aforementioned time off shall be granted with full pay and shall not be subject to the 2000-hour time bank identified in Section 1 of this article. All notifications for time off for Union Business shall be made to the Fire Chief prior to actual time being taken. These notifications shall be by email and must be followed by a Form 25-S not later than the member's next tour.

  • Data Protection Officer 10.1 The Data Processor will appoint a Data Protection Officer where such appointment is required by Data Protection Laws and Regulations.

  • Association Leaves 1. The Board will provide the Association President or their designee with forty (40) days of paid release time during the course of the school year in order to conduct Association Business. The Association shall reimburse the Board for the cost of any substitute required as the result of any such released time which exceeds forty (40) days during the course of the school year.

  • Association President The President of the Association has the right to visit schools. The President will coordinate the visits with the offices of the principals in order to facilitate the purpose of this visit. Visits that are made to solve special problems of teachers will be arranged in advance by notifying the office of the principal.

  • Association Leave A total of 10 days of leave with pay during the current school year shall be granted the Association for use by the Association. A maximum of four additional days may be used for Association leave and the substitute’s salary will be reimbursed to the Board by the Association. The President of the Association will notify the Superintendent as to the educators and dates involved at least five (5) days before such leave is desired.
