Construction Closeout. The Subrecipient must perform final inspections and provide an inspection report confirming all completed scopes. Subrecipients must also collect final construction documents and meet all requirements to closeout construction activities. This includes but is not limited to: • Certificate of Occupancy/Completion (COO/COC) and if applicable, Post- Elevation Certificates, • Permit Closeout, • As-Built Plans, • Evidence to ensure the project meets environmental requirements, • Copies of all warrantees and guarantees of work, • Confirmation of satisfaction property owner, and • Other documents as requested by the program to ensure a CDBG-DR- compliant closeout, including recording a restrictive covenant on properties. Construction Closeout. Project closeout begins when the contractor reaches substantial completion, as defined by the contract. When the contractor indicates that they have reached this point, Tetra Tech will prepare a punch list and conduct an inspection of the project with the contractor’s representative, the City’s Project Engineer, and representatives from other appropriate City departments. The punch list will serve as a guide for the contractor and a checklist for the Resident Project Representative (RPR). Upon completion of the project punch list, a final inspection will be conducted. When the City’s Project Engineer and the RPR are satisfied that the work is complete, the Engineer will recommend that final payment be issued to the contractor. Record drawings will be prepared to provide the City of Xxx Arbor with permanent documentation of what was constructed. Record drawings will consist of draft record drawings and final electronic and hard copy record drawings. Draft drawings will be prepared for review by the City, and final drawings will be prepared following receipt of comments from the City. Record drawings will be produced to provide a clear record of the system, as it exists after the project is completed. Record drawings will show the final work product with no construction notes, with all proposed work shown as constructed. Construction Closeout. This includes activities for providing a final project walk through, project closeout documentation and creating a record set of drawings conforming to construction records drawings. The specific elements of work include: a. Final Project Punch List and Walk Through: The Consultant will prepare the Final project punch list. A final walk through will be performed by the Sponsor, the FAA (if available) and members of the Consultant’s Team.

  • Project Completion The Contractor agrees to schedule a final job walk with the County. If required, the County will prepare a list of incomplete items, the “Punch List”. The Contractor agrees to complete the “Punch List” corrections and schedule a final project completion job walk.
