Flexible Benefits Plan A flexible benefits plan, which is in accordance with Section 125 of the Internal Revenue Code, was implemented for eligible employees covered by this Agreement on October 1, 1990.
Flexible Benefits Insurance Program
Car Allowance The Company shall provide the Executive an automobile allowance of $750 per month during the term of Executive’s employment hereunder.
Flexible Benefit Plan The District will maintain, at no cost to the employee, a flexible spending benefit plan pursuant to Section 125 of the Internal Revenue Code, with operating procedures determined by the District in accordance with IRS regulations. This plan may be used for favorable income tax treatment of the employee’s health and dental premium contributions, deductibles, co-insurance amounts, other unreimbursed medical expenses, and dependent care assistance.
Auto Allowance The Company shall provide to Executive a car allowance in an amount equal to $1,000 per month during the Employment Period.
Education Allowance Provisions in existing Collective Agreements providing for educational allowances shall be continued in effect.
Flexible Spending Account The parties agree that the State shall have the right to use State Employee Health Plan funds to cover the administrative costs of operating the medical and dependent care flexible spending account programs.
Uniform Allowance Where uniforms are required, the Hospital shall either supply and launder uniforms or provide a uniform allowance of per year in a lump sum payment in the first pay period of November of each year.
Meal Allowance A shift worker who works a qualifying shift of eight hours or the rostered shift, whichever is the greater, and who is required to work more than one hour beyond the end of the shift (excluding any break for a meal) shall be paid a meal allowance of $7.95, or, at the option of the employer, be provided with a meal.
Tool Allowance (a) A tool allowance as set in the relevant Wage Tables in Appendix A per week shall be paid for all purposes to:- (i) Electrical workers at Grade EW 5 and beyond; (ii) Electrical workers performing the duties of: (A) Television Antenna Installer/Erector; (B) Television/Radio/Electronic Equipment Servicemen; and (iii) Apprentices - Contained within the relevant Apprentice Wage Rates.
