HOURS OF WORK cont. 3.03 Fire Prevention Personnel shall work a forty (40) hour work week, four (4) days per week, ten (10) hours per day as per Schedule “A” attached. All approved hours in excess of ten (10) hours per day, for Fire Prevention Personnel, shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half the employee's regular hourly rate of pay. Fire Prevention staff may transfer hours in excess of forty (40) hours per week to their time off banks; such time will be taken in full shifts only (10 hours). Firefighting Personnel may be temporarily assigned to the Fire Prevention Section and assigned day shift hours of work in conjunction therewith for such period of time as may be mutually agreed between the Chief and the Association. Appointment shall be made in accordance with Article 13, Promotions and Seniority.

  • HOURS OF WORK i) Where employees are now working a longer daily tour, the provisions set out in this Article governing the regular hours of work on a daily tour shall be adjusted accordingly.

  • 00 - HOURS OF WORK 14.01 The Employer does not guarantee to provide work to any employee for regularly assigned hours or any other hours, except as provided for in Article 18.00. Eight (8) hours shall constitute a normal day of work. The normal hours of work shall be between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. for an eight (8) hour day, with one-half or one hour for lunch at the midpoint of the shift.
