JOB CLASSIFICATION AND RATES OF PAY. The job classifications and rates of pay shall be as set forth in Schedule C attached hereto and forming part of this Agreement.
JOB CLASSIFICATION AND RATES OF PAY. 8.01 Employees shall be classified and paid in accordance with Schedule "A" which is attached to this Agreement and forms a part of it.
8.02 Wages shall be paid by automatic bank deposit into the bank account of each employee’s choice on applicable Thursdays on a bi-weekly basis. Pay stubs shall be handed out on the employees' shifts and shall be available at the Retirement Residence office any time after 12:00 noon on Thursday. Year to date totals, vacation pay percentage and accumulation will be noted on each employee’s pay stub.
8.03 If an employee suspects an error on her pay cheque, written notice on a form prescribed by the Employer must be completed and presented to the Executive Director within five (5) calendar days of the pay date. If the error proves valid, the appropriate correction shall be made with the next regularly scheduled payroll. Employer related errors of forty dollars ($40.00) or more will be resolved within three (3) business days by direct deposit, if so requested by the employee. Failure to report errors within the prescribed times assumes that the payroll is correct and further recourse may be stopped by the Employer.
8.04 New classifications may be established by the Employer. Wage rates for such new classifications shall be negotiated by the Employer and the Union and, if they fail to reach an agreement, they shall submit the dispute to arbitration in accordance with the arbitration procedure outlined elsewhere in this Agreement.
JOB CLASSIFICATION AND RATES OF PAY. 7.01 Employees shall be classified and paid in accordance with Schedule "A" which is attached to this Agreement and forms a part of it.
7.02 Wages shall be paid on applicable Fridays on a bi-weekly basis. Pay-stubs shall be available at the nursing home office any time after 12:00 noon on Thursday. In the event that a bank holiday falls during a pay week, wages shall be paid on the following Monday.
7.03 In the event a new job classification is created in the bargaining unit the parties shall negotiate wage rates for such new classifications. If the parties fail to reach an agreement the dispute shall be submitted to arbitration as provided for in this Agreement.
7.04 If an employee who is scheduled to work reports for work and is notified that no work is available, he/she shall be guaranteed a minimum of four (4) hours wages, whether required to remain at the home or to leave immediately.
7.05 Newly hired employees shall have a period of training and orientation in accordance with the Home's current practice, the length of which shall be at the discretion of Management. The Home's supervisory personnel shall be responsible for training and orientation of newly hired employees; however, all staff are expected to participate in this training and orientation period. During the orientation period the employee shall be paid at the Start Rate per Schedule “A”. After successful completion of the probationary period, the employee will be paid at the experience rate as per Article 7.06.
7.06 A claim for related experience, if any, shall be made in writing by the Nurse at the time of hiring on the application for employment form or otherwise. The Nurse shall cooperate with the Home by providing verification of previous experience so that her recent related experience may be determined and evaluated during her probationary period. Having established recent related experience, the Home will credit a new Nurse with one (1) annual service increment for every one (1) year’s experience (part-time equivalent—1500 hours equals one (1) year up to the maximum of the grid. If a period of more than two (2) years has elapsed since the Nurse has held an active nursing position, then the Nurse shall be employed at the Start Rate.
JOB CLASSIFICATION AND RATES OF PAY. 29.01 The company agrees to pay and the union agrees to accept for the term of this agreement, the wages as set out in the Wage Schedule "A" attached hereto and forming a part of this agreement.

JOB CLASSIFICATION AND RATES OF PAY. 23.01 Employees shall be classified and paid in accordance with Schedule A which is attached to this agreement and forms part of it.
23.02 Wages shall be paid on a bi-weekly basis and each employee shall receive a pay statement by electronic mail.
23.03 Should any error occur in a pay cheque, attributable to the Employer, the Employer will endeavour to correct the error as soon as reasonably possible.
JOB CLASSIFICATION AND RATES OF PAY. Job classifications and rates of pay shall be as set out in Schedule "A" to this Agreement. When an employee relieves in a higher paid classification for one (1) hour or more, he or she shall be paid at the next higher rate in the higher classification for all hours worked in such higher classification. When a new classification which is to be included in this Agreement is established by the Employer, the Employer shall provide the Union with a copy of the new Job Descriptionand shall consult with the Union and subsequently determine a rate of pay. In the event that the Union disagrees with the rate so established, it may lodge a policy grievance and the provisions of Article of this Collective Agreement shall apply.
JOB CLASSIFICATION AND RATES OF PAY a) Employees hired after July 1, 1993 shall be classified and paid in accordance with Schedule “A” which is attached to this Agreement and forms a part of it.
b) Employees hired prior to July 1, 1993 shall be classified and paid in accordance with Schedule “A” and Schedule “B” which are attached to this agreement and form part of it.
c) Where an employee is requested to take on the responsibilities of another employee in a different job title, or another employee not covered by this collective agreement and accepts those responsibilities for more than five (5) consecutive days, she shall be compensated at a rate commensurate with the rate established by the Employer for that classification retroactive to the first day. In no cases shall the Employee be paid less than the hourly rate they normally receive for their position.
8.02 New classifications may be established by mutual agreement between the Employer and the Union. Wage rates for such new classifications shall be negotiated. If negotiations fail to produce an agreement then the rates shall be settled by arbitration under this Agreement.
8.03 Wages will be paid bi-weekly. Pay cheques shall identify total hours paid for at corresponding rates of pay, vacation pay, general holiday pay, premiums and all other deductions. All hours worked during the summer break will be paid on the bi-weekly schedule during the summer. Where Employees are required to attend staff meetings or committee meetings, such time shall be considered time worked.
8.04 For the purpose of placement on the wage grid, where a temporary employee is hired into a permanent position with no break in service, the employee’s accumulated hours shall be credited to the start of their employment with the employer as a temporary employee.
8.05 Interest shall be added to any retroactive payment to an employee when the amount exceeds $100, at the Employer’s average deposit interest rate over the last twelve (12) months.
JOB CLASSIFICATION AND RATES OF PAY. 7.01 Employees shall be classified and paid in accordance with Schedule "A" which is attached to this Collective Agreement and forms a part of it.
7.02 Where a new job classification is required, the wage rate for the new classification shall be established by the Employer, and written notice shall be given to the Union. The wage rate shall be considered agreed unless the Union objects to the proposed wage rate within thirty (30) days of notification.
7.03 In the event that the Employer is required to introduce significant changes to an existing job such that the job description is substantially altered, the Employer shall give written notice to the Union outlining the changes which have taken place, along with the Employer's proposal for a change in the wage rate, if any. Should the Union object to the proposed wage rate, such objection to the wage rate must be made in writing, within thirty
