Schedule "A” which is the schedule of the job classification presently in effect; rates of pay for each classification and provisions of payment etc., during the term of this Agreement. b. Job Rates. Employees posting to a lower rated job shall be paid the appropriate rate for the new job effective the date they commence work on the new job.
Job RatesEmployees shall participate in the City’s direct deposit program for payroll purposes. There shall be no cost to the employees for utilization of this program. The job rates are specified in Appendix "A".
Job RatesEmployees shall be paid the applicable job rate provided for in Schedule “C” - Schedule of Rates, for jobs they perform when they become qualified. Employees working on a higher rated job for 4 hours or more in a day/shift shall be paid the higher rate for all hours worked in that day or shift.
Job Rates. 15.01 An employee who is temporarily transferred, in any one day, for two hours or more, to a different job classification shall be paid while so employed as follows: (a) If the transfer is for the convenience of the Company, and if the rate of pay in the classification to which their is transferred is less than the employee's regular rate of pay, they shall receive regular rate of pay. (b) If the transfer is to a higher-rated classification for fifty percent (50%) of the workday or more, then the employee will receive the higher rate of pay. If the transfer is for the convenience of the employee or in lieu of layoff, and if the rate of pay in the classification to which they are transferred is less than the employee's regular rate of pay, they shall receive such lesser rate.
Job Rates. In the event of a grievance concerning the quantity of production required on a daily basis, the grievance would follow the prescribed steps under Section 8. If the grievance is not resolved at Step 2, a mutually agreed upon consultant will be employed to recommend the appropriate daily rate. If this rate is not mutually acceptable, the grievance will continue through the remaining steps of the grievance procedure. The Company and Union will share equally all costs billed by the consultant.

Job Rates a. The Employer shall have the right to establish the job content and job descriptions for all jobs and to evaluate all jobs for the purpose of assigning job titles, job evaluation points, and pay grades; and when changes in actual job duties warrant to change the job description and pay grade of an existing job based on the revised job content and job evaluation points, provided that the wages for each pay grade in the structure shall be set forth in Appendix A of this Agreement. b. If, during the term of this Agreement, a new job title is created the employer shall establish the job description for the new job title, assign job evaluation points, and the pay grade applicable thereto, and shall promptly furnish the Local President with a copy of the job description, the job evaluation points, and the pay grade assigned thereto. If the Union disagrees with the job evaluation points or pay grade during the first ten (10) calendar days after it has been so notified, it shall have the right to initiate a grievance with respect to the job evaluation points. If a grievance has not been initiated during said ten (10) calendar days' period, the job evaluation points and pay grade shall be deemed acceptable by the unit. c. If during the term of this Agreement the Employer deems it necessary to create a new pay grade, the rate for said pay grade shall, prior to implementation, be presented to Union representatives at a special conference. In the event the Union does not concur, the proposed pay grade shall be subject to Step 2 of the grievance procedure. d. The Employer and the Union agree to create a job evaluation committee. The committee will be composed of three members from the Employer and three members from the Union. The committee will meet four times per year to review reevaluation requests. e. If, during the term of this Agreement, alterations are made to the duties of an existing job or an employee requests a reevaluation of their job evaluation points, the committee will review the changes in job duties or the employee’s request. The committee will submit any recommended changes in job descriptions and job evaluation points to the County Administrator. The County Administrator will, within thirty (30) days, review the job description and the committee’s recommendation to determine appropriate job evaluation points and placement in the appropriate pay grade, and will respond to the employee. Job RatesEffective July 1, 2011, the Police Officer 1 and Police Officer 2 classifications shall merge into one classification titled Police Officer. All Police Officers who have been in either classification for more than two years will receive the job rate as shown below. For those Police Officers within the first two years of employmentsee Section 2 below.
Job Rates. When a new job classification is established, the Company may, after advance notice to the Council, determine a wage rate for the classification and assign the classification to a particular seniority group. These determinations shall be subject to the Grievance Procedure and to Arbitration on the claim that, in assigning the classification to the seniority group, the Company has not respected jurisdictional lines insofar as practicable, or that the wage rate determination by the Company bears an improper relationship to established rates.
