Jury and Court Duty. A regular employee shall be granted leave with pay and benefits when summoned as a juror or by subpoena or summons to attend as a witness at court. Any remuneration for jury duty or witness fees received by the employee shall be remitted to the College.

Jury and Court Duty. The Employer shall pay full salary and benefits to an employee who is required to serve as a juror or subpoenaed court witness.
Jury and Court Duty. A. Leave will be granted to CTP who are asked to serve on jury duty. No deduction in salary will be made, but CTP are required to reimburse the school district for the compensation excluding any reimbursed expenses for jury duty as referenced in Board Policy GBRIA. B. If a CTP is subpoenaed as a witness in the action of any court except those initiated by the CTP or his/her association, then the CTP shall not lose any leave or salary provided that the School District shall receive the compensation excluding any reimbursed expenses paid to the CTP by the court.

If an employee is excused from jury duty not later than four (4) hours into their scheduled shift on that day, they must work the remainder of their schedule that day in order to be entitled to the payment of said difference.

Said employee will be paid as if he/she had worked for time spent during regularly scheduled work days for the employer. An employee shall suffer no loss of wages while serving as a subpoenaed Crown witness or for jury duty during regular working hours, if selected. 19.03 Employees required to attend court on their scheduled day off, arising from the performance of their duties, shall be paid their regular hourly rate for all hours the employee is required to be in court.
Jury and Court Duty. The district will pay full salary during the time an employee is required to appear for jury duty, but any compensation up to the amount of the member’s salary shall be returned to the District. In the event a member is required to appear in court pursuant to a subpoena, serves as a witness or has a deposition taken in any pending litigation involving the member’s official duties, the member will be paid his/her full salary. Jury and Court Duty. An employee may be granted leave of absence when serving on a jury or when subpoenaed by proper authority to appear as a witness for a Federal Government, the State of North Dakota, or a political subdivision thereof. The leave of absence shall be only for the duration of the court or jury duty. The employee shall be granted time off with pay, less the amount of fees received for jury or court duty (which shall be turned into the Business Office at the Sports Center). Jury or court fees may be retained if the employee is on authorized personal leave or chooses to take a pay deduct. Employees should inform the building administrator as soon as notice of jury or court duty is received and request time off in the usual manner. YEARS YEARS
Jury and Court Duty. After due notice to the Employer, employees subpoenaed to serve as a witness or called and selected for jury duty, shall be allowed their regular compensation at their current rate for the period the court duty requires their absence from work duty, plus any expenses paid by the court.
