Leave Incentive. At the end of each school year, teachers who have used two or less leave days during that year may convert accumulated leave days to cash. Payment shall be made prior to July 31 in a separate check. The following formula shall be used for all conversions: Number of Days Accumulated Number of Days Which May be Converted Amount per Day 8-10 1 $100 11-20 2 $85 21-40 3 $70 41-60 4 $65 61-100 5 $60 101-150 6 $55 150 and Above 10 $50 See also, XVI, D. Leave Incentive. If an employee uses no more than two (2) sick leave days (this includes discretionary or personal necessity days), over the course of a current school year, that employee will receive one (1) extra vacation day to be used the following school year as approved by their supervisor. If the day is not used during the school year, the employee will be paid for that day. The incentive day is not to be carried over into any other school years. Those employees who are paid for their vacation days will be allowed to utilize their earned incentive vacation day with prior approval of their immediate supervisor. Donations of Xxxx Leave to another employee due to a catastrophic illness shall not cause an employee to be ineligible for Sick Leave Incentive.
Leave Incentive. A certified employee who takes zero (0) hours of leave in a school year will receive a $1200 stipend in June. A certified employee who takes up to sixteen (16) hours of leave in a school year will receive a $900 stipend in June. A certified employee who takes up to twenty-four (24) hours of leave in a school year will receive a $600 stipend in June.
Leave Incentive. A teacher on contract for the full school year shall qualify for Leave Incentive Pay after the conclusion of the school year as follows: 1. Use of no (zero days) leave days during school year - $300 to be paid into the teacher’s Section 401(a) or Section 403(b) annuity account; 2. Use of not more than one (1) leave day - $225 to be paid into the teacher’s Section 401(a) or Section 403(b) annuity account.

Leave Incentive. Each semester before December 1st or June 1st, any teacher with ten (10) years experience in the coopersville Area Public School system may apply for a one (1) year leave under this section to start with the beginning of the next semester. No reason for such request need be stated, but leave shall be granted conditional on a replacement teacher being available. No more than five (5) teachers shall be on leave under this provision at anyone time. If more than five (5) teachers apply for such leave for a given year, the five (5) most senior teachers shall qualify for the leave. Leave under this provision shall be granted only once to a teacher.
Leave Incentive. Any member of the bargaining unit who works six (6) months without utilizing sick leave time shall be credited with one (1) incentive day (12 hours). Use of such incentive time shall be on an hourly basis. Two

An absence due to jury duty will not count as a deduction against this leave incentive when evidence of jury duty participation is provided to the Human Resources Department. For purposes of this incentive, the parties’ mutual expectation is that an eligible employee has used (1) no sick days or sick time, (2) no personal days or personal time and (3) no emergency days or emergency time.
