Meal Intervals/Rest Breaks. An employee is entitled to an unpaid meal break of 30 minutes after 5 hours of work which is to be taken at a time convenient to the business and the service to customers. Employees shall receive a paid rest period of 10 minutes duration for each four hours worked to be taken at a time convenient to the business and the service to customers.
Meal Intervals/Rest Breaks. Casual employees are entitled to a paid meal/rest break of 10 minutes after three (3) hours of work and an unpaid break of 30 minutes after five (5) hours of work. Such intervals/breaks are to be taken at a mutually convenient time taking into account operational requirements.

Meal Intervals/Rest Breaks. Permanent Employees will have a 10 minute paid first break. This time may vary due to operational requirements for task completion, and/or as agreed with the appropriate supervisor. Casuals will receive a 10 minute break of which 6 minutes is paid and 4 minutes is unpaid. Employee’s lunch break will be for 20 minutes, 10 minutes of which is paid, and 10 minutes of which is unpaid to be taken at a time agreed with the appropriate supervisor or as dictated by operational requirements for task completion. Casuals will receive a 20 minute unpaid break. Employees working a 12 hour shift on the 24/7 roster will be given an additional 10 minute paid break. Where meal breaks are taken during a period of overtime, then the break will be paid at ordinary time. Where Philmac provides an Employee with 24 hours notice of overtime, then no meal allowances will be paid for any meal breaks during ordinary time or overtime. If overtime is requested less than 24 hours then meal monies will be paid after 2 hours overtime or a meal will be provided. Meal Monies will equal $11.08 on each occasion that the Employee is entitled.

  • Rest Breaks Employees shall receive a fifteen (15) minute break during each four (4) hours worked. It is the Employer's intention to provide uninterrupted rest breaks.

  • MEAL PERIODS AND REST BREAKS 4.1 Except when required for urgent or emergency work and except as provided in 4.2 no employee shall be required to work for more than five hours continuously without being allowed a meal break of not less than half an hour.

  • Training Period The training provided for in this article shall be given during the hours of work whenever possible. Any such training outside of working hours shall be considered voluntary unless at the request of the Employer, in which case time devoted to training shall be considered as time worked.

  • Rest Interval An employee required to work overtime beyond her regularly scheduled shift shall be entitled to eight (8) clear hours between the end of the overtime worked and the start of her next regular shift. If eight (8) clear hours are not provided, overtime rates shall apply to all hours worked on the regular shift which fall within the eight (8) hour period.

  • Transition Period Due to the nature of our purchasing process, the District often requires an existing service provider to continue to provide goods and/or services while the District is in the process of advertising, evaluating, and awarding a contract for the provision of the same goods and/or services in the future. To accommodate this process, the Contractor shall agree to maintain the same terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement for a period up to ninety (90) days after the automatic termination of this Agreement at the end of its term, if requested by the District, as a transition period. In addition, if the Contractor is not the successful bidder for a future solicitation for the same or similar services, he or she shall agree to provide the same goods and/or services provided in this Agreement for a period up to ninety (90) days to allow for an orderly transition to the new provider. The District and the Contractor may mutually agree to a longer transition period.
