Non-Bargaining Unit Work. No employee will be regularly required to perform any work under the jurisdiction of any other bargaining unit other than the work performed by bargaining units having members assigned to the O.U. Police Department. Provided, however, employees shall be required to maintain their personal and assigned equipment, lunch area, office area, and assigned patrol vehicle (interior only) and the property room in accordance with O.U. Police rules, regulations and directives. No employee shall be required to clean or maintain any departmental office space, equipment, storage area or vehicle, other than as specified above.
Non-Bargaining Unit Work. No employee will be required to perform on a regular basis, any work under the jurisdiction of other bargaining units, except such as may represent Police Officer Supervisors. Provided, however, that employees shall be required to maintain their personal and or assigned departmental equipment, lunch area, office area, and assigned patrol vehicle (interior only), and the property room in accordance with departmental rules and regulations and supervisory orders. No employee shall be required to clean and maintain any department office space, equipment, storage area or vehicle, other than as specified above. Nothing herein contained shall be construed such that bargaining unit personnel would be permitted to refuse to follow all lawful orders or to carry out work assignments as provided to them by their supervisors regardless of the nature thereof.
Non-Bargaining Unit Work. Full-duty employees shall not perform work duties regularly assigned to non-unit employees (e.g. Communications and Records Bureau, carpentry, plumbing, painting and other craft work, etc.) except as call-backs.
Non-Bargaining Unit Work. 1. Employees shall not be required to perform the duties of custodial employees such as maintenance, construction, washing, painting, or cleaning.
2. Employees shall not be required to perform work/projects for community groups.
3. Students shall not be required to perform work/projects that are not in the normal sequence of the course of study without first the approval of the Superintendent.
Non-Bargaining Unit Work. Any employee who agrees to do non-bargaining unit work shall be paid at the rate designated for the work performed. He/she shall have no expectation of being paid his/her bargaining unit rate.
Non-Bargaining Unit Work. If the District decides to employ a classified classroom nurse, the TTEA unit nurse shall coordinate and oversee the work of that nurse as appropriate. The TTEA unit nurse will remain the case manager for the student’s medical needs. Each TTEA unit nurse shall bring to the supervisor’s attention any situation in which the nurse has a question about priorities and use of work time.
Non-Bargaining Unit Work. 30.1 Neither students nor other employees of the School Department shall perform work normally performed by the bargaining unit. However, upon approval from the Superintendent or designee and Council 94 president nothing herein shall prevent a parent and/or student volunteer project in the region and/or a student discipline work program.
Non-Bargaining Unit Work. Employees in the bargaining unit shall not be required to perform the work of an employee excluded from the bargaining unit without the bargaining unit employee's consent.
Non-Bargaining Unit Work. Non-bargaining unit employees shall not do jobs normally performed by bargaining unit employees except for instructional/training purposes, or in operating equipment or processes in emergencies or in performing necessary work for experimental, developmental or start-up purposes. If special circumstances arise that are not covered by the above, the Company will discuss the issue with the Union.
Non-Bargaining Unit Work. Salaried employees will not perform work regularly performed by any member of the Bargaining Unit except in the following types of situations:
1. In the instruction or training of employees when no qualified members of the Bargaining Unit are available to perform such instructions, with the exception of instructions requiring thirty (30) minutes or less time.
2. In cases of trial runs on products or processes which are being developed.
3. Performance of work for required metallurgical tests.
4. In solving technical problems requiring hands on contact with machines or product. In such cases, the hourly employee will be in the department and will be used to perform setups and all other job duties, except in emergency situations when an hourly employee is not available. Hourly employees may be performing other production needs of their job responsibilities during this period. If repairs are required, the appropriate skills classification will perform such repair.
5. Employees of vendors will be allowed to sort defective material on company premises. If TRW machinery or equipment is to be used an hourly employee will be present.
6. Salaried employees may transport parts (e.g., tools, supplies, manufactured or purchased parts) through the plant as long as it is incidental to their jobs and does not constitute delivering parts to bargaining unit employees. The transportation of parts should not result in the use of hand trucks or lift equipment. Any violation which deprives a regular employee represented by the Bargaining Unit from the performance of such work, will require the payment of base rate for l/2 hour straight time or actual time if greater than l/2 hour for normal working hours, and l/2 hour overtime or actual time if greater than l/2 hour for overtime hours to such employee for such time spent in violation of the Agreement.
