Non-continuous Shift a) An employee on non-continuous shift is entitled to an unpaid meal break of not more than thirty (30) minutes each shift.

Non-continuous Shift. Workers Employees covered by this agreement may be required to perform non continuous shift work due to seasonal and other operational requirements of the business. Where this is required, the ordinary working hours of shift workers shall not exceed that prescribed in clause 4.1 (Hours of Work) to be worked according to a roster determined by the employer. Different methods of working shifts, including different starting and finishing times for employees on the same shift, may apply to various groups or sections of employees or to individual employees within the Company. Where employees are required to change from day work to shift work, employees shall be provided with at least 24 hours notice. Provided that by agreement the notice period may be reduced or waived completely.

Non-continuous Shift. (Rotating): - means work performed by consecutive shifts of Team Members through the 24 hours of each day, of at least five consecutive days without interruption, except during breakdowns or meal breaks or due to unavoidable causes beyond the control of Iplex. Team Members engaged on non-continuous shift work are rostered to rotate between shifts.

Workers All overtime worked by non-continuous shift workers shall be paid at the rate of time-and- a-half for the first 2 hours and double time thereafter, except in the following circumstances in which the ordinary time rate is paid: Where overtime is worked: by arrangement between the Employees themselves; or for the purpose of effecting the customary rotation of the shifts; or on a shift to which an Employee is transferred at short notice as an alternative to standing the Employee down in circumstances that would entitle the Company to deduct payment.
