Notice of Closure. The Employer shall notify all employees who are to be affected by the permanent closure of all or any portion of the Employer's operation, based on the following scale or shall award pay in lieu thereof: Period of employment Notice period At least thirty (30) days but less than one (1) year One (1) week At least one (1) year and less than three (3) years Two (2) weeks At least three (3) years and less than five (5) years Four (4) weeks At least five (5) years and less than ten (10) years Six (6) weeks At least ten (10) years Eight (8) weeks
Notice of Closure. The Co-operative shall notify all employees who are to be affected by the permanent closure of all or any portion of the Co-operative’s operation, twenty- one (21) calendar days prior to the effective date of such closure or shall award pay in lieu thereof.

Notice of Closure. Except in the case of fire, flood, explosion or other similar circumstances, the Employer shall provide a notice of intent to terminate employment of less than 50 employees. Said notice will be given to all full-time employees and unrestricted part-time employees who have completed their probationary period and who are to be terminated by the permanent closure of all or any portion of the Employer's operation, said notice period will be as set out in the following table: Period of employment Notice period Less than one year 1 week One year but less 2 weeks than three years Three years but less 4 weeks than five years Five years but less 6 weeks than 10 years At least 10 years 8 weeks If a termination notice was given for less than the applicable notice period, the portion of the notice period for which notice was not given will be paid to the employee as if he/she had worked his/her regular hours of work for the period. For employees who are either accepting the termination of employment or cannot exercise their seniority rights into another position for which they were qualified and the full notice period has not been completed, the Employer will pay wages in lieu for any reduction of the notice period.
Notice of Closure. 28.01 The Company shall notify all employees who are to be affected by the permanent closure of all or any portion of the Company’s operation, sixty (60) working days prior to the effective date of such closure or shall award pay in lieu thereof. In the event Manitoba legislation requires additional notice and pay in lieu of notice be given, such legislation will apply.

The Employer shall notify all employees who are to be affected by the permanent closure of all or any portion of the Employer's operation, within two (2) working days of receiving notice from the Province of such closure; or at least sixty (60) working days, should the decision to close be made independent of the Province.

In the event the Employer does not give notice as described herein the Employer agrees to pay all regular employees in lieu of notice not given.

In instances where the law provides for greater notice of lay-off than sixty (60) working days, the Employer shall provide notice or pay in lieu of notice in accordance with 67(1) of the Employment Standards Code C.C.S.M. c. E110, 2007
Notice of Closure.
(a) The Employer agrees to give sixty (60) days written notice of the Co-op closing or any department thereof, to the Union and to the employees affected by the closure. In the event the Employer does not give notice as described herein, the Employer agrees to pay all employees in lieu of notice.
(b) The Employer further agrees to provide employees with a first option to buy the business in case of a closure.
Notice of Closure. The Company shall provide two (2) months notice of any decision to close the plant covered by this Agreement, unless the Company has no prior knowledge of the circumstances leading to the closure. Such notice shall be in writing and indicate the reasons for the closure. The Company and Union will meet immediately thereafter to discuss the closure and attempt to reach agreements which minimize the impact of the closure on employees in the bargaining unit. The Company also agrees to fund a Job Search Committee in order to assist employees in finding new employment. The Company agrees the severance payment(s) will be in excess of the Employment Standards Act payments. The Company agrees to apply the conditions in the Junior Painters’ Grievance to all classified workers laid off to Attendant classification. The Company agrees not to use this policy when the end result is overtime paid elsewhere. It is agreed as follows:
